Dear Friends, Families naturally gather to celebrate special events and to reinforce family es. Welcome and thank you for being an important part of Bethesda Project and its cri cal mission to be a “compassionate family for Philadelphians experiencing homelessness.”
This party and auc on is Bethesda Project’s most significant fundraiser of the year. Without the support we receive at this event, many of our homeless brothers and sisters would be without food, or housing, or the caring a en on for which Bethesda Project is so well-known. By your par cipa on here, you are doing your part to help make this world a be er place. You help us to make Philadelphia true to its name – “City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affec on.”
Enjoy this family gathering.
With gra tude,
Abbot Domenic Rossi Bethesda Project Founder

WHO WE ARE
In the last 44 years, Bethesda Project grew from a single apartment to 15 housing loca ons across Philadelphia, including emergency shelter, entry-level programs, and permanent suppor ve housing.
Our guests’ and residents’ needs are not one-size-fits-all, and so we offer a con nuum of care, including individualized care plans, long-term case management, referrals to outside providers, connec on to legal aid, and walk-up meal services to nearly 1,000 individuals experiencing homelessness every year. We foster community within our residences with house mee ngs, special holiday meals, and frequent group and volunteer ac vi es.
We are driven by our core values of compassion, service, and the inherent worth and dignity of all people. Our mission is to find and care for the abandoned poor and to be family with those who have none.
