Understanding Safe and Healthy Relationships and Sexuality for Young Adults

Part One Part Two

Tuesdays

September 12 - October 10

6:00pm - 7:30pm

In Part One of this group, participants will learn about gender identity and expression, different types of relationships, public vs. private behaviours, friendship, communication and decision making related to sexuality and health. This group is ideal for teens and young adults who already have a basic understanding of puberty and who can participate in online activities and discussion.

Tuesdays

October 24 - November 21 6:00pm - 7:30pm

In Part Two of this group, participants will learn about developing romantic relationships, safe internet and social media use, how to be in a safe relationship, as well as your body and how to care for it. This group is ideal for teens and young adults who already have a basic understanding of puberty and who can participate in online activities and discussion. Participation in Part One is not required, however, it is recommended to enhance learning.

Part One and Part Two are offered in person at Bethesda Niagara Family Centre 3310 Schmon Parkway Thorold For teens ages 16+ years
