Bethel Schools branding guidelines are based on the premise that there is only one purpose for print and digital materials issued by the school district: to communicate facts, ideas and other information to support the district’s commitment to providing quality educational experiences for all of our students.
All of our schools and departments provide outstanding services but they do so as an element of the Bethel School District. By promoting everything we offer under the Bethel Schools brand, we project a supportive, strong, unified image to the community.
Every employee is a district ambassador. This guide is intended to help you use the brand correctly. However, we cannot anticipate every situation or spell out every instance where use of the brand may be inappropriate. If you have any questions regarding the correct use of our brand, please feel free to contact the Communications Department for assistance.
Adherence to AP style is not required of departments within the district but good grammar is. Remember that everything you do reflects the quality of education we are delivering to our students. Check your spelling. Check your punctuation. Always ask someone to proofread for you. If you need assistance or have questions, please contact the Communications Department.
According to OSPI, school districts must include the nondiscrimination statement (text below) in any publication that is disseminated on an annual or periodic basis to all students, parents, participants, applicants, employees, or stakeholders. This includes district publications as well as building publications. Please share this with staff who create publications for your school or department.

Proper Use
Our Logo is an extension of our brand and will retain the most recognition if used consistently within the following guidelines:
Clear Space
To keep the integrity of the logo, maintain a clear space around the mark that is equal to the height of the letter ‘B’ in the brand mark. Keep the space equal to the size of the letter forms clear of other elements.
Minimum Size
To maintain legibility of the mark, minimum size should be no smaller than 1 inch wide (25 mm).

Department Logos

Official department logos will be uniform to present a unified look for all the district’s programs and departments. Department logos will utilize the district’s mountain logo, the word Bethel, and the department name in a stacked placement. Departments can decide if they would like their name to be written in Quickbrush (cursive) or Oxygen font.
