Grace and peace be unto you from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.
What an incredible journey we have begun together! Since January 13, 2025, when I was blessed to begin serving as your pastor, we have already witnessed God’s hand moving mightily in our midst. In these few months, our congregation has experienced a powerful influx of both membership and ministry engagement. To God be the glory!
Just ten days ago, I was officially installed as the pastor of this historic and faithful church—a moment I will never forget. Your love, support, and unity during this time have been both humbling and inspiring. It is evident that the Spirit of the Lord is at work among us, and I am excited about the great things God has in store for Beth Eden Baptist Church.
As we enter the month of May, we also pause to honor and celebrate the beautiful gift of motherhood. We thank God for the mothers who are still with us nurturing, guiding, and loving us—and we lovingly remember those who have gone on to be with the Lord. Truly, as the Scripture says, “Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her” (Proverbs 31:28). And in the words of the gospel hymn, “Give me my flowers while I yet live, so that I can see the beauty that they bring” may we always cherish and uplift our mothers, both in presence and in memory.
Let us continue to walk together in faith, hope, and love as we build upon the foundation of those who came before us and move boldly into the future. May our church continue to be a beacon of light, hope, and healing in Fort Worth and beyond.
Walk With God!
With a shepherd’s heart and a servant’s spirit,
Dr. James Lewis Boatner Senior Pastor

Health Ministry Thank You Mayfest 2025
National Nurse Week, an annual observance recognizing the contributions of nurses in healthcare, takes place from May 6-12, 2025. Nurses’ Week provides an opportunity to acknowledge these essential workers and volunteers who strive to provide quality healthcare. Their role in the healthcare system is significant, providing essential support to medical institutions and adapting as the industry evolves. The impact of nursing highlights their dedication and resilience in every role undertaken. Nursing is a profession that requires time, knowledge, heart, passion, and commitment to serving others.
The Beth Eden Health Ministry team expresses gratitude for trusting us to provide quality healthcare information and services. Partnering with you to offer judgment and direction during health challenges is our mission. We will continue to collaborate and network with our healthcare partners in the community to deliver the best information and resources to the Beth Eden family.
Joyfully, Nurse Campbell
1 Peter 4:10-11 (NIV)
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God; if anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen”
