The Epsilon Omicron Chapter had an exciting year! We broke ground October 7, 2017, and began construction on our new chapter house that will hold 40 men and a housemother. We are grateful for all the hard work that has led to this opportunity and look forward to welcoming all alumni and parents back to Lexington for the official house dedication on October 13! CHAPTER REPORTS

We created a new website to show off the individuality of our chapter – betauiowa.org. Also, we tied with another chapter on campus for highest semester GPA. Lastly, we were recognized by the university for being in good standing after the university's moratorium period.

Our chapter started off this semester with excitement as our new members began the pledge process. In addition, we are still giving back to our community by participating in the Wyman Park Dell cleanup and volunteering at Club 1111.

We have successfully lifted the East Knox Jazz Program off the ground, which provides a phenomenal extracurricular activity to an underfunded school district. We partnered with a sorority on campus for a Super Bowl squares fundraiser for Fisher House. The Kenyon community really enjoyed the event.

Brothers at Tau Sigma have been very involved on campus. This spring, we participated in Greek Week and have been active in intramural sports, boasting a number of first place finishes. We are continuing to recruit men for the fall semester and are excited to see our chapter grow! S

This previous semester, one of our recent strategic goals was to increase service and philanthropy, so we began bi-weekly service for Partners on Aging Communities and increased service opportunities for the chapter. We also held our annual Formal Dance at Hofbrauhaus in Cleveland, as well as our Spring Date Dance.

In the past two semesters, Alpha Nu won intramural championships in football, sand volleyball, indoor volleyball and dodgeball. We are currently in the midst of our largest capital fundraising campaign to date. We are looking forward to our annual philanthropy “TomStrong,” which aims to improve campus-wide accessibility.

We successfully hosted our first significant alumni event in some time and are working to reach out to even more alumni. Additionally, our chapter held a successful philanthropy event to support cancer research. Our wonderful house mother, Bobbie Lonker, celebrated her 81st birthday, and 28th year as our house mother. This term, we had one of our most successful philanthropy events yet by selling peanut butter pies to the campus, raising more than $700. We have also done a lot to help improve our brotherhood through fun events like a frozen T-shirt contest and by mixing up our housing assignments. S

We had an awesome time integrating nine new earnest young men into our chapter and helping them to grow and become the best student examples and leaders on campus, as well as taking them down to Beta's birthplace in Oxford for their initiation.
