Year-End Giving Helps All Year
Charity Spotlight by Bob Blaisse

As 2019 comes to a close, this annual gift-giving season is an extra-festive opportunity to show extra appreciation for family, friends and community. If your generosity includes making a year-end donation to a charitable organization, we at Marple Friends & Neighbors magazine recommend showing your appreciation to a nonprofit organization that’s one of our Sponsors, The Spayed Club Clinic (TSC).

TSC, located in Delaware County, is one of multiple animal welfare organizations collaborating to eliminate pet euthanasia in the Greater Philadelphia area. TSC provides education, a low-cost spay/neuter program and primary care services. Founded in 1990, TSC has helped over 100,000 animals. Statistics show their efforts are creating a positive trend, but there’s still much work to be done.
Two examples of how donations make TSC’s work possible:

Evan, a rescued adult male cat, now thriving after being adopted into a loving home
Evan, an adult orange male cat, was found almost lifeless in TSC’s parking lot one cold afternoon. The Vet found Evan to be starving, freezing, dehydrated and suffering from a tick-borne illness. After a few weeks of medical treatment, Evan recovered. With assistance from rescue partners, Evan was adopted into a loving home, where he’s now thriving.

Augie, a male mixed-breed dog, rescued by TSC and adopted into a loving home
Augie, a male mixed-breed dog, was brought to TSC as a nine-week-old abandoned puppy. He was full of worms and having difficulty breathing. Augie required months of medical care, but was fortunate to recover and was adopted into a loving forever home.
Your generosity can help more sick pets like Evan and Augie get the medical care they need to recover and be adoptable by pet lovers. TSC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible, and 100% goes directly to help animals in need.
