r. Georges P. Martin, DMD, and his dedicated staff at Marple Dental have created a family-oriented, modern dental practice for all ages. Located in the heart of Broomall, Marple Dental offers the full spectrum of modern dental treatment in a safe and compassionate environment. Dr. Martin has lived and worked in Broomall and Havertown for most of his career, and takes pride in making each patient feel like a member of his extended family. Dr. Martin has been at his current location in Marple Commons since 2011. His office manager, Kristen Dumigan, has been working with him since 1995. She is a certified dental assistant and is extremely proficient in all aspects of patient management and insurance processing. Anna Verdecchio is Dr. Martin’s fulltime chair-side assistant who has a remarkable aptitude for the demanding skills required for today’s cosmetic and restorative procedures. Most importantly, she naturally projects a kind and calm demeanor that easily puts even the most nervous patients at ease. Dr. Martin and his staff take great pride in providing their patients with the best possible dental experience. That mission begins by making certain that they are ready to receive and seat each patient as close to their appointment time as possible.

Not only is punctuality important to Dr. Martin and his staff, but the personal connection and trust that he has developed with patients over the many years of his career is paramount to the practice culture.

“It was more important to get to know my patients and who I was taking care of,” Dr. Martin said with a smile. “They are like extended family members, many of my patients have been with me for over 25 years, and I make it a point to catch up with them and hear about their lives every time they come into our office.” Evidence of that connection can be seen on the “postcard wall.” Dr. Martin proudly displays the hundred or so postcards that his patients have sent to him and his staff from all over the world. “I think the patients enjoy seeing them as much as we do,” Dr. Martin said. “Every so often I will hear a patient say ‘Hey, I sent that one’, or ‘That was a great trip.’”

Dr. Martin grew up in Massachusetts and attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biology. He received his degree in dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and officially became an Eagles fan in 1987.
