What is SAP | SAP Overview. What is SAP and what is it for? SAP is a business management software program that was born in Germany in the 1970s and whose applications are still in use today. Its acronym in English refers to Systems, Applications, Products in Data Processing , which translated into Spanish means Systems, Applications and Products for data processing , as explained by best online career .
