s one of the first plaintiffs’ attorneys in the United States to utilize MRI technology in the courtroom, Randall H. Scarlett of the eponymous Scarlett Law Group is something of a pioneer when it comes to cases involving traumatic brain injury, or TBI. Indeed, his use of the technology stretches back to 2005. But Scarlett also recognized early on the limitations of standard MRI imaging—and the potential of more powerful scans. A client involved in a low-impact rear-end accident came to the firm suffering from severe cognitive issues, but a standard MRI administered directly after the accident did not show any telltale lesions in his brain. Enter the Tesla-3 (T3) MRI, which Scarlett immediately ordered for his client. Just as he suspected, the scan clearly showed the lesions that the previous MRI did not. More than two decades later, Scarlett remains one of the leading TBI attorneys in the country, obtaining record-breaking results for clients in complex cases that often result in well-defended jury trials.
