AIM & OBJECTIVES

Aim

To explore what social responsibility means in everyday practice and how values-led behaviour can support ethical leadership, whatever your role.

Objectives

• Understand what social responsibility means in your role and setting.

• Explore how values-lead behaviour can influence others e.g. pupils, colleagues and the wider community.

• Recognise everyday opportunities to lead through ethical and socially responsible actions.

Wikipedia defines social responsibility as…

“…an ethical concept in which a person works and cooperates with other people and organisations for the benefit of the community”.
