1. Visit our website at - www.bestpracticenet.co.uk/ta-level-3billericay

2. Click the "Apply Now" button. The programme name that you will be applying for is called - Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Billericay Teaching Alliance, with the most current intake date stated.


3. Create your account by entering your name, email and create a password. Please keep your login details in a safe place as you will need them during your application process.

This notice will show once you have clicked "Register"


6. You will then receive an email to verify your account. If you don't get this please check your junk or spam folders. Click the link in the email to verify your account.

7. This link will take you back to the Application Portal to the login page, enter your login details to contine.


8. Once logged in. You can start your application. You will be asked for: • Personal details • Qualifications • DBS information • Your School and employer details You will asked to complete a skill scan to determine your level of knowledge (from 1-10). This is for you to discuss through with your personal tutor and make a learning plan.

You can save your application at any point by selecting the “Save Draft” button at the bottom. By clicking "Save Draft", you are NOT submitting your application, only saving it to come back to another time.


9. When you have completed all of the sections in the application, you will be taken to a final self-declaration page. Once you are happy that all the information is correct, click the "Submit Application" button.

10. You can check on your submitted application under the "Applications" tab within your Application Portal. Your application should show as "In Process".


Application FAQs Q: I can’t locate my DBS number, can I still complete my application? A: Yes you can! Please put “0000” in this box, this will allow you to bypass this question and input this at a later date.

Q: The Skills Scan section of the application is asking me to upload evidence, why is this? A: When selecting you have experience and knowledge above at 7 or above on the skills scan the application will prompt you to evidence this so that we can exempt you if you have prior learning. If you do not have evidence to support this in the form of a certificate then you should select a 6 or below.

Q: I would like to review my submitted application/pick up where I left off with my draft, how do I do this? A: You can log back into your application portal at any time via our website at https://ccms.bpnsystems.net/applications/login.php

Q: What happens next? We will review your application and be in contact with yourself and/or your employer within 2 working days to discuss next steps and answer any questions you may have.
