ForaslongasIcanrememberIhavewantedtobeapoliceofficerI'msure,asalittleboy,whatfirst caughtmyattentionweretheflashinglightsandsirensonthepolicecars.Itcouldhavealsobeen thenthefactsthatpoliceofficerwerepermittedtocarryagunandhadtheabilitytorunredlights. ThisiswhyasIgrewupandplayedgameslikecopsandrobbers,Iwasalwaysthepoliceofficer. Duringmyteenageyears,Ilaterjoinedthepoliceexplorerprogramandreallystartedtolearnabout policeworkThat'swhenIshowmorecontent

Rather,IhavelearnedfrommymistakesandanybaddecisionsI'vemadeovertheyearsand expandingmyknowledgeoftheconsequencestobaddecisionmaking.Thisisthepointinmylife thatdefinedmeasanindividual.Throughexperience,I'velearnedthebestrouteisthetruthfulone, nomatterhowdifficulttellingthetruthmadeifforme.AfterhighschoolIstartedJr.Collegeand beganmajoringinCriminalJusticeBut,IdidnotcompleteschooltoobtainmydegreeIntime,I joinedtheUnitedStatesMarineCorps.Theretheyhelpenhancedmydecisionmakingskills, leadershipabilities,andhelpedmegrowasaman.AfterservingonactivedutyIworkedinthe corporateworldandjoinedtheMarineCorpreservesItwasn'tuntilafterafewdeploymentstoIraq IdecidedtofinallygetfocusedonmycareerinlawenforcementbyattendingtheHillsborough CommunityCollegePoliceAcademyandcontinuingmyeducationtherebyworkingonmyA.A.S. DegreeinCriminalJusticethereaswell.IdoplanonexpandingonthatbygettingaBachelor's degreeatU.S.F.
