Five Future Roles in The Age of Automation

According to a recent World Economic Forum report on ‘Future of Jobs Report 2018’, 75 million jobs will be displaced due to artificial intelligence (AI), robotics and automation. However, it also says that 133 million new jobs may be created as organisations shift the balance between human workers and machines: a net gain of 58 million.

In fact, 65% of children entering school will eventually work at jobs that don't exist today. Many of currently existing jobs could potentially be automated within the next 15 years. To keep pace with this new job structure we need to skill our children in robotics, AI and other Future Technology Skills that will be essential in the times to come. Roles like data analyst, machine learning scientist, process automation specialists and digital marketing experts will be much more in demand in the coming decade and if we are not ready how will we compete with our peer group.
