Summer 2020 /21 Seasonal Market at Bethanga

Peninsula Seasonal Markets Autumn Market Day – Talgarno, Sunday March 7th After a highly successful Summer Market, producers have been busying themselves in preparation for the Autumn Market to be held on Sunday March 7th at the Talgarno Hall/tennis courts, 9am-12pm. The subsequent Winter and Spring Markets will take place at Bellbridge and Granya. The first ever Peninsula Seasonal Market, held in Bethanga in early December surpassed all expectations. Over 30 local stall holders ran stalls with products and services ranging from jewellery, clothing, floral arrangements, photography, pottery, natural dyed fabrics, timber wares, original children’s books, fruit and vegetables, jams and baked goods, plants and seedlings, a community BBQ, a pop-up coffee shop and a local band.

The Berringa Peninsula Community Network Group has formed in response to the recovery program initiated by the Towong Shire. Volunteers from the group are keen to reach out to the local community to explain what they do and hear from locals any thoughts they may have on future actions. So, bring plenty of BIG ideas!
