This report looks at the impact on young children, their caregivers and frontline workers of the Covid-19 lockdown in India in 2020, which shut down a range of early years services. Based on interviews with 10,112 households and 2,916 frontline workers across 11 Indian states, it summarises the pandemic experiences of parents and service providers, and makes recommendations for strengthening services for the future.
