Picking out the perfect pumpkin for your fall festivities is a perk of celebrating the season. And there’s no better place to go for your jack-o-lantern than Western Belle Farm in West, TX. Their annual Pumpkin Festival not only provides pumpkins for picking, but it also provides endless fall fun for the whole family.
“‘This year we have put a lot of work into growing our own pumpkins, so families can come and actually have the experience of picking their pumpkin from the farm,” said coowner of Western Belle Farm, Taylor Huffman.
The festival extends from Sept. 21 to Nov. 3, and includes hay rides, pumpkin shooting, farm animals, a Pumpkin Jump Pillow, zip lines, barrel train rides, a four-acre maze, and much more.
Not only are there fall-themed activities for the whole family, there’s also new food options that will keep you coming back for more.
“We’re going to be offering steak street tacos with homemade salsa and apple cider donuts that are fresh, delicious, and covered in cinnamon sugar,” Huffman said. “We want the food at Western Belle to be better than the typical festival food. We’re foodies, so we want to offer things we’d want to eat.”
During Pumpkin Festival season, the farm is offering free admission for grandparents on Sept. 21 and 22, teachers with a school ID on Sept. 28 and 29, and first responders Oct. 4 through the 6.
Western Belle is also hosting a Glow Night on Oct. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. where patrons can go through the maze by the light of the moon, make s’mores, and enjoy farm activities. The first 250 customers will also get a FREE glow stick.
“We love creating a place in a farm environment, where family and friends can make memories,” Huffman said.

Starlynn is a bright and joyful 13-year-old with a passion for creativity and learning. Whether she’s singing, painting, or crafting, Starlynn’s artistic spirit shines through in everything she does. Her love for music extends to playing several instruments, and she’s currently learning Spanish—just one of the many ways she’s committed to achieving her goals.
Starlynn is known for her warm heart and infectious sense of humor. She’s a caring and generous young girl who values deep conversations and enjoys engaging with electronics. Her favorite subject in school is English, and she’s always ready with a smile or a laugh, even though she can be a bit guarded when it comes to trusting adults.
Starlynn dreams of being part of a loving family—a family that embraces her love for the outdoors and sports and understands the importance of patience and support. She would thrive in a single or two-parent household, and she has a special place in her heart for younger siblings and animals. Starlynn’s ideal family will not only provide for her needs but will also help her navigate the ups and downs as she transitions into her new home.
One of Starlynn’s wishes is to reconnect with the beauty of her curly hair, and she dreams of a mother who can guide her in embracing and caring for it. Starlynn deserves a family that will cherish her creativity, support her aspirations, and allow her to flourish as the wonderful, normal teenage girl she is.
