THE PROFESSOR Dhaval Dave [DA-vay] is the Stanton Research Professor of Economics and an expert in health economics. He studies the economics of obesity, mental health and tobacco control policy, and health and human capital, including as a research associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research.
THE ALUMNUS Ben Gardner ’88 is the founder and board member of Linkwell Health. The New York-based company partners with health plans, consumer brands and retailers in offering discounts, coupons and content to help shoppers arrive at healthier food choices.
