Office of Sustainability Student Leadership Program Student leadership is essential to making Bentley a more sustainable university. As such, the Office of Sustainability has developed a robust Student Sustainability Leadership Program to cultivate professional skills and provide students with hands-on learning opportunities. The Office of Sustainability (OOS) is recruiting six student leaders for its 2022/2023 academic year program. Student Leaders are paid interns for the OOS. These positions run for the full academic year. If you are planning to study abroad during Fall 2022 or Spring 2023 you are unfortunately not eligible for these positions. Student Leaders are required to: • Attend weekly team meetings (Wednesdays from 2:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.) • Attend fall OOS Student Leader Orientation (Date/time TBD) • Attend (2) DEI trainings hosted by the OOS (Date/time TBD) • Collaborate with other OOS Student Leaders If you are interested in applying for any of the positions listed below, please send your resume, cover letter, and any additional materials required for the position to ga_bentley_sustainability@bentley.edu. Position Descriptions Assistant Project Manager The Office of Sustainability (OOS) staff relies on the Assistant Project Manager to help complete projects that are essential for the function of the office. This student is responsible for assisting OOS staff with day-to-day tasks including: project management, conducting research, drafting reports, data analysis, and meeting support. The Assistant Project Manager is often asked to lead projects on their own with little guidance from the OOS staff. Essential skills include; advanced knowledge of sustainability and Bentley’s sustainability initiatives, excellent writing skills, and advanced skills in Microsoft Office. This person must be extremely organized, a creative thinker, and someone who can work independently and take initiative on projects. This position is approved for up to 15 hours a week. Social Justice Coordinator The Social Justice Coordinator is responsible for assisting OOS staff in evaluating the office’s practices, programs, and campus sustainability policies to identify actions needed to make
