Orientation Student Coordinator- Pre- Orientation & Transition Programming 2021-2022 Highly motivated, enthusiastic, positive students, with an attention to detail, who are looking to enhance their leadership skills by serving as role models, guides and mentors to the Orientation Team, new students and families at Bentley University. The Student Coordinator role will begin in December 2021 and run through the completion of the orientation program, September 2022. The students selected for these positions will work approximately 40 hours in the spring semester, with the option to work additional hours in a project-based capacity as needed. In the summer, Student Coordinators work approximately 20-25 hours weekly, with additional hours on pre-scheduled Fridays and some evenings as needed. Student Coordinators must be available for scheduled office hours, team trainings and the orientation program without any additional commitments. Regardless of collateral assignments, all Student Coordinators will be responsible for helping to create a cohesive orientation team and holistic experience for incoming students in conjunction with the professional members of the Orientation Central Staff. All orientation staff will be:

Examples of responsibilities:    

Support the various orientation program sessions for Commuter Students, Transfer Students, and students participating in the Mosaic and Defined Communities programs Assist with initiatives to support the family members of new Bentley students including the creation of family newsletters and virtual family orientation programming Support Orientation Team Alumni engagement through orientation alumni surveys Collaborate with campus partners who help to facilitate various pre-orientation programs

Please be prepared to assist in other duties as assigned and needed. Staff must be available for the following commitments with recruitment, training, and program execution: 2021-2022 Commitments    
