2026 New Falcon Mentor Coordinator Position Description
Orientation & Student Onboarding is seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic, positive student, with an attention to detail, who is looking to enhance their leadership skills by serving as a role model, guide and mentor to new students and families at Bentley University.
Position Overview:
The New Falcon Mentor Coordinator is an experienced student leader who provides peer supervision and programmatic support to the New Falcon Mentor team. This role bridges the gap between student mentors and professional staff, ensuring smooth communication and effective execution of onboarding initiatives.
Hours: Up to 20 hours/week April-May and up to 30 hours/week June–September
Compensation: $17/hour

Key Responsibilities:
• Peer Leadership: Serve as a point of contact for a cohort of New Falcon Mentors.
• Mentor Coordination: Help organize mentor schedules and responsibilities.
• Training Support: Assist with mentor training and facilitate small group sessions.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor mentor engagement and provide feedback.
• Event Support: Help lead onboarding events and ensure mentors are prepared.
Qualifications:
• Must be a returning New Falcon Mentor or have equivalent leadership experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and involvement in campus activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other student leaders and university staff.
• Passion for helping others and creating a positive and inclusive environment.
• Living on campus during the summer or in commuting distance from campus. Please note, by working for our office over the summer, successful candidates would receive reduced summer housing cost.
