Telluride Sleighs and Wagons Lower Golden Ledge

Telluride Sleighs and Wagons Located on the Aldasoro family's private ranch Telluride Sleighs and Wagons is home of the premier dinner sleigh ride experience in the area. It also plays host for some of the most spectacular summer events and intimate Winter weddings.

Fully Customizable If you can dream it, you can build it. Mesa weddings allow for you fo fully customize your space. Feel free to create custom spaces that will make your wedding truly your own.

Remember that power on-site is very limited and most events will require generators.

Location and transportation Located only 20 minutes from Telluride and approximately 10 minutes past the Telluride Airport on Last Dollar Road, Telluride Sleighs and Wagons is incredibly easy to access but feels worlds away.

Transportation for guests is required, and only limited parking is allowed during your event.

Buildings on Site Telluride Sleighs and Wagons has two semi-permanent structures. Our 16X20 canvas tent that is used for our dinner sleigh rides and a 12ft tipi. The tent is not moveable, but the tipi can be relocated to a suit your event. Both are included in your rental of the site.

Local and regional rental companies can assist you in the rental of other structures as well.

But what about bathrooms!?

There are no permanent bathrooms at Telluride Sleighs and Wagons, so all events must arrange for their own to be brought in. Bathrooms can be simple port-a-potty style or high-end “comfort stations�.

Intimate Affair For a truly white wedding we offer Winter weddings for up to 20 guests, with horse drawn sleigh rides.

Lower Golden Ledge

Lower Golden Ledge is the premier wedding space on Deep Creek Mesa. Featuring views of Mt. Wilson and surrounding mountains it the perfect backdrop for your dream mountain top wedding. This pristine space features aspen groves and open flat meadows perfect for dancing.

You and your guests will be enchanted.

Lower Golden Ledge has serveral options for ceremony locations. Whether you want to have the majestic mountains looking over, or am intimate exchange in the aspens, this site delivers.

With ample space to build your perfect reception there is no reason to leave after your vows. There is a perfect place for anything and everything you may want from dancefloors to full bars. Just because you’re on a mountain doesn’t mean you can’t have every amenity.

There are not bathrooms on this site and facilities must be provided.

Location, location, location

Located off of Last Dollar road, approximately 15 minutes past the Telluride Airport, Lower Golden Ledge is the perfect destination for your event.

Planning a mountain top wedding can be daunting. Don't let that stop you! There are many capable wedding planners in the area that can assist you.

Transportation for your guests to and from the venue is required. Limited event parking is allowed on the day of your event.

Planners are not required but they are recommended. We are happy to recommend the best to you.

From first kiss to last dance Your full day rental allows you to dance well into the night. Whether you have a DJ or a live band this venue is the perfect place to celebrate all night long.

However, there is no overnight camping on the property,

Seasons of love Summer and Fall are the perfect time to use this gorgeous property.

Bookings begin in early June and end mid October.

Magic in the details The small touches can really make a wedding feel like your own. We can provide you with a list of our preferred vendors to help you make your day extra special. These professionals have a great eye and a knowledge of our space to help make your day special.
