Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Bronze Expedition
To inspire young people to develop initiative and a spirit of adventure and discovery by planning, training for and completing an adventurous selfsufficient journey as part of a team.

The Bronze Practice and Assessed Expedition will be amalgamated into a 2-night walking expedition having completed a training programme throughout the term. The students will be supported in planning a route, practicing navigation and campcraft before being assessed in all areas. They will be closely supervised and assessed by qualified staff. On completion, students will have completed the Bronze Expedition section of their award. More information to follow for the parents of the participants in a letter directly from the DofE Manager.
