Torbay Theatre’s Musical revue inspired by 2 world wars 18-26 April at the Torbay Community Hall www.facebook.com/TorbayTheatre

On 15 April Maria Alomajan, author of Dogs in Action, will talk about working dogs and their stories. Maria is hoping to bring along a therapy dog. On 20 May we will be having a Music Month-themed speaker taking about the many aspects and highlights of their life. Details of these talks will be on the Auckland Libraries website & on ECB Library Facebook nearer the date, or ask a staff member. Also, watch for posters in the library. Meetings are at 10.30-12pm. Everyone is welcome.

Saturday 30 May Check out some of the hidden (& not-so-hidden) treasures of Browns Bay. Register at the Bays Community Centre from 10am & receive your Treasure map & passport. Meander through Browns Bay, trying out activities, watching demos & finding out all sorts of things you didn’t know. The day will finish at St Anne’s Hall with a community meal. There is no charge, but please let us know if you plan to come, for catering purposes. Ph Debbie 478 4091. All activities will take place between Beach Rd & the beach, so it’s a flat walk suitable for buggies, wheelchairs & the not-so active.
