Each quarter our Acorn Long Service Awards scheme recognises every colleague who has achieved a long service milestone with the company – and we try and push the boat out for really important ones – at 10, 25 and 50 years’ service.
It’s all about saying Thank You. for your loyalty, effort, hard work and support. Family businesses don’t survive for 250 years without great people – and it’s thanks to all our people that we are one of the best in our industry.
So, here’s how it works.

After one year’s service, your annual holiday entitlement increases from 22 days to 25 days!
Once you have achieved three years’ service, you’ll receive gift vouchers worth £30 to show our appreciation!
To reward you for five years’ service, Bradfords gives vouchers worth £50 so you and your husband, wife, partner or friend can enjoy a treat on us!
We will recognise the achievement of seven years’ service by increasing the vouchers to £70!
10 years is a real milestone in anyone’s career, and we believe it should be rewarded. So have a couple of days away on us with £250 of vouchers and three paid days off in your 10th year!
After 15 years, the relationship really has got serious! We’ll give you £150 of vouchers and one week extra paid holiday in your 15th year so you can take a well earned break!
To celebrate your 20 th anniversary, we’ll give you £200 of vouchers and one week extra paid holiday that year so you can enjoy a break on the company!
Your Silver Anniversary is pretty amazing - not many people reach 25 years service in any company. To reflect this we give you £500 of vouchers and two weeks extra paid holiday in your 25th year!

CONTRIBUTORY PENSION SCHEME
LIFE INSURANCE COVER **
Contributory pension where, if the employee contributes 4% of salary, the company will also contribute 4%.
MATERNITY LEAVE
Life cover is payable at x1 gross salary for all employees and x4 gross salary for all employees contributing 4% into the company pension scheme.

52 weeks of leave, made up of 26 weeks Ordinary Maternity Leave and 26 weeks Additional Maternity Leave.
