FOR ACCURATE COLOUR MATCHING SCANGRIP now introduces the CRI+ term defined as an average of all 15 R-values. This is the only correct definition of the CRI value to be used for accurate and reliable colour recognition.

Work lights to be used for colour match purposes must have a light source with a high CRI value. The standard CRI value is calculated as an average of the first 8 R-values out of 15.

This means that e.g. the R9 (red) value, which is important for correct colour recognition, is not taken into consideration for the CRI value.

SCANGRIP has made protection vice jaws for more than 50 years. Now, we are proud to present the next generation in a new, improved design offering great impact resistance.

The new MAGNEFIX vice jaws provide a firm, yet gentle grip and will be the choice of all demanding and proud craftsmen. The profile of the MAGNEFIX jaws is right-angled and surfaceparallel suitable for all vices including machine and thus intended for use both in production and assembly.

MAGNEFIX jaws are equipped with an extremely powerful magnetic strip which easily attaches the jaw to the vice and ensures a rapid setup.

The magnetic strip is only magnetic against the vice jaws and will not attract debris or fillings to the clamping surface nor magnetize the clamped parts.

The jaws are manufactured from the special flexible polyurethane material which has a shore hardness of A82. Polyurethane is known for its unique abilities to �bite onto� the work piece without damaging or scratching it.

At the same time, polyurethane is so flexible, that it returns to its original shape after deformation.
