Bell HR Consulting offers two support packages to assist you with your HR needs. “HR Advice” provides you with access to telephone and email based support in response to common people management questions which may arise in the day to day running of your business. Giving you piece of mind that you have access to expert advice as and when you need it.

For a more pro-active approach Bell HR offers the “HR Business Partnering” package. This package helps business owners and managers with the development and implementation of HR solutions which are linked to the achievement of their business objectives.

HR Advice

This package is designed to provide you with access to expert HR advice as and when you need it. Our support is commercially focused and provides you with comfort you are meeting your legal obligations as an employer.

This service allows your nominated managers to phone or email for advice in relation to common HR questions. The HR advice service covers the following areas:

• Recruitment and Selection

• Managing the Probationary Period

• Sickness Absence Management

• Discipline Procedures

• Grievance Procedures

• Working Time Questions

• Maternity and Paternity Leave

• Family Emergency Leave

• Flexible Working Requests

• Bullying and Harassment Advice

• Managing Poor Performance

• Managing Holiday Requests

• Compassionate Leave

• Data Protection Regulation Questions

• Questions in relation to unexpected events such as short time working or furlough leave

Business owners are kept up-to-date with key changes in employment law.

In response to changes in employment law or the operational needs of the business employment contracts and HR policies are updated.

Bell HR online is a resource which provides access to template documents, managers guidance notes and pre-recorded training videos. Access to this resource is provided for the nominated managers.

The HR Advice package includes:

• Phone or email when you need advice relating to your employees

• Access template letters and guidance via email

• Employment law updates provided by email

• Updates to employment documentation

• Access to Bell HR online

HR Business Partnering

The HR Business Partnering package builds on the expert HR advice provided under the HR advice package.

This service provides the business owner or manager with a proactive HR support partner.

As part of this package, we will help you develop an HR plan which will be linked to the achievement of your business objectives. This HR plan will be unique to your business and will identify key HR projects, which may include:

• Scaling up your business and helping with recruitment and selection

• Designing an induction process

• Development of HR policies or an Employee Handbook

• Helping to define the optimum organisational structure

• The development of performance management tools

• Guidance and support in the redundancy and restructure process

• The development and implementation of staff feedback surveys

• Streamlining your HR processes and sourcing an HR system to meet your needs

• Management development and coaching delivery

• Development of succession planning tools

• Employment law training

Working with you over a 12-month period we will help you identify and deliver projects which are linked to the achievement of your business goals.

This package is normally taken in addition to the HR Advice package to provide pro-active HR support. This service includes:

• Assistance with the development of an HR plan

• Face to face meetings or video call meetings to check on progress

• Allocated monthly project time based on client needs
