Birth of Imam Ali (as) Celebrating Brotherhood 24th February 2021 Assalamu Aalaykum Dear Parents, “O people! We created you from a male and a female, and made you races and tribes, that you may know one another. The best among you in the sight of God is the most righteous. God is All-Knowing, Well-Aware.”

Holy Quran 49:13 On the auspicious birth of Imam Ali (as) Junior School at Bellfield College will be holding a celebratory assembly on Tuesday the 2nd of March 2021. Remembering Imam Ali (as) as the ‘voice of human justice’ students in Grades 4-6 are encouraged to prepare a speech to present at the assembly on Tuesday 2nd March.

Students are required to write about how Imam Ali (as) inspires them and link their speech to the character strengths of teamwork, fairness, and leadership. Only 3 students will be selected to present in front of the assembly however the rest will present in class.

During the week’s Illumination lessons, students will participate in activities based on the character strengths of teamwork, fairness, and leadership.

K-2 will also have a special assembly to celebrate this auspicious occasion.

Due to COVID parents and families are not permitted on campus for these assemblies.
