Set thermostat on hot water heaters to below 120 º F and actual bath water temperature should not exceed 102 º F to prevent burns and avoid other health issues. Follow Dr. recommendations for newborns or those with existing conditions.

Use an elevated toilet seat for extra support when lowering to or rising from the toilet.

Install grab bars in or around the tub area to make getting in and out of the tub easier.

Use a light, hand-held shower head to make cleaning easier.
