Lean two roof is simply a pair of lean to roof structure in opposite directions. This is a vector active and form active structure. The most important and wide usage of these structures is due to its low cost roof and spanning capacitiesof large spaces. The main structure consistsof I section beams & columns joined with nuts& boltswhich makes it excellent for unidirectional bending parallel to the web. The roof structure is a modified and a mixed one. Thetrussusedisamodifiednorthlighttrussthatallowsthemaximum benefit tobegainedfromnatural light using glazing on the steeper pitch which generally faces north or north east to reduce solar gain. Rafter and braces are providedto supportthe roof.Pinnedconnections tensile cablesareusedto provide extrastrengthto thestructure. Jalis and glazings are used to provide shading effect in the truss which supports ventilation and is also aesthetically pleasing.

LEAN TO ROOF

A lean to roof is nothing more than a simple, sloping roof added to a building where the upper edge of the rafters 'lean' against a wall or building.

The Module roof is at two level to achieve sufficient amount of light and ventilation.

The material used in the structure are I section beams and columns (cast iron) along with Poly Urethane Foam panels for walls and pre fabricated roof. Rigid polyurethane foam (PUF) is one of the most efficient, high performance insulation material, enabling very effective energy savings with minimal occupation of space. Bolted and pinned connections are used, which are easily available, easy to transport with least skill required to assemble the structure. :

Prayagraj (Allahabad) is one of the largest cities of the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh in India. The city is situated on an inland peninsula, surrounded by the rivers Ganga and Yamuna on three sides, with only one side connected to the mainland Doab region, of which it is a part. This place is called Parade Ground, where many events are organized such as fairs, any political gathering, and most important Kumbh Mela (at starting it is a preparation area for Mela).

I’m selecting this as a site for COVID 19 Care Centre because This is the most prominent location for the city. This area is a junction of three parts of Prayagraj (as the city is surrounded by the river Ganga and Yamuna by three sides).

The site is well connected from all parts of the city. ( i.e Main city, Jhushi, Naini ).

Along with separate entry/exits, separate lounging spaces for staff and patients has been provided . For all entries to the internal spaces, proper sanitization tunnels are provided so no one goes in unsanitized. On entering, there is a counseling and reception area for patients coming via private vehicle or ambulance adjoining the testing area. The positive patients are then moved to the isolation wards created according to the severity of their condition.

If need be, there is an intensive care unit and morgue also provide inside the premises. There is a different section for staff and doctors provide with separateentry followingthe donning/doffing area with lockers. This section is completelyuncontaminated zone with sanitization chambers. The kitchen, medical storages unit and waste management areas are all interconnected along with the service yard.
