SPORTS COMPETITIONS HEAT UP IN BROXTOWE WITH THE WARMER WEATHER and upcoming international sports events like the Commonwealth Games, the World Cup and Wimbledon just around the corner, Broxtowe residents are being encouraged to join their sporting hero’s and take on their own sporting challenge at one of Broxtowe Borough Council’s Decathlon sports events. From Triathlons and Aquathlons to an all new children’s Scootathon, The programme will kickoff in the Green Flag Award-winning Bramcote Hills Park on Friday 25th April as the park plays host to the sixth Decathlon Broxtowe 5K, as well as the 2K Fun Run. Online entries are now being taken for this year’s events, which offer enjoyable and achievable sporting challenges for participants as young as five.
