SUBJECT OVERVIEW
This subject offers you the chance to expand your personal creativity and develop your understanding of the complexities of theatre. It involves working with a range of people, rehearsal schedules and performance analysis with an emphasis on drama and theatre studies as a practical, artistic and technical subject. If you enjoy the study of plays and the opportunity to be creative, then this subject is for you.
SUBJECT OVERVIEW This subject will provide you with an understanding of current economic issues and economic problems that affect everyday life. It will also provide you with the ability to analyse, explain and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the market economy and the role of government within it. You will develop an enquiring, critical and thoughtful ‘economist’s mind’.

All employers are seeking to recruit individuals who can demonstrate key skills such as communication, analysis and creativity. This course helps build these, but also helps to build confidence, alongside presentation skills. Upon completion of this course you could progress on to a higher education course in Drama, or a related subject, at either university or drama school depending on the route that you would prefer to take. UCAS points available: 56 maximum
Students typically go on to study economics, management, law or other business related courses. You could also study courses combined with a wide variety of other subjects such as History, Maths or a Language because of the strong logical base that the subject provides. Progression to university to study Economics usually requires A-Level or AS Maths to accompany an A-Level in Economics. UCAS points available: 56 maximum
