WHAT IS THE ACADEMY OF SPORT? Tresham Academy of Sport offers high quality education and training allowing students to continue with their sporting development whilst gaining academic qualifications.

BE A PART OF OUR SUCCESS STORY! 2018 was a great year for our Academy of Sport students.

Here are just some of our highlights: • The Football Academy 1st Team reached the quarter finals of the national premier cup, finished as runners up in the Category 1 College Premier League and reached the last 16 of the National College Premier playoffs.

• The Girls Football Academy finished as league runners up and reached the quarter finals of the National Cup. • The Volleyball squad were National Cup quarter finalists and regional runners up.

• Ryan Kenyon (Boys Football Academy) – ranked 5* by USA Scholarship Colleges (only 3 out of 500 to be ranked at this level).

• Soloman Paul (Boys Football Academy) – was an England National Trials finalist (last 30).

• The Rugby Academy was awarded RFU Focus College status and hosted the England U20 Head Coach for a special session.

RYAN KENYON Level 3 Sport Tresham Academy of Sports is the best place to be, as it gives you the opportunity to play at professional level. I’ve had trials at Peterborough United as well as getting the opportunity to play for the England Colleges National Team. The facilities are excellent too, being able to train and play on a 4G Astro pitch as well as using the gym during breaks. The academy also has its own sports therapist, helping you stay in shape and avoid injuries. I chose to come to Tresham College because of the Football Academy.

It’s a great way to develop as an individual player as well as team player. Tutors at the College give plenty of guidance helping you achieve the highest grade possible with their wealth of experience.

I have been offered an American Scholarship as a result of the Football Academy. The scholarship will also give me the opportunity to study a degree alongside playing football every day.

TRESHAM RUGBY ACADEMY Tresham Rugby Academy, offers aspiring players the chance to continue with their education whilst also gaining high quality training and rugby development led by expert coaches. Students will take part in a full-time study programme at our Kettering campus and will receive multiple weekly training sessions and regular league fixtures.
