My desire to pursue a career in the Interior Design industry has grown with every moment of my studies. Previously working in Travel, the importance of experience has always been a central focus of my work. I am fuelled by understanding how a space communicates with an individual, evokes emotion and creates memorable moments, through conceptually approached and functional design.

My background has taught me a wealth of knowledge in understanding people’s needs and wants (and helping people realise them). Seeing a vision come to reality is something that has always driven me.

We are not bound to reality.

The concept of boundless is to fully immerse the guest in a transcendent sensory experience, exploring the ethereal qualities of the increasing popular new media art movement.

A harmony of new technology and the human desire to escape reality propels artists to create a deeper connection to their works. A removal of time and frame that focuses on engaging all the senses.

Boundless aims to create an experience that escapes normalcy through the surreal qualities of light, colour and illusion while reflecting the repeating vibrations felt through the senses.

The reception area features tinted skylight solar panels that are a large power source for the hotel, while allowing a stream of natural light

ALCHEMIST BAR

A concept cocktail bar inspired by the experimentation and alluring mysticism that alchemy was founded upon.

A curation of specially designed cocktails will be available from the innovative and highly regarded team at Eau De Vie. The cocktails are made to be with served with a light tone of theatrics, some smoke and fire.

The Lab is a secluded space within the Alchemist, where customers and guests are able to engage in learning the art of cocktail making or hire as a private space for small groups.

Bloom suites have been designed with the feeling of exploration and freedom being a central theme to the space. A refreshing space to connect with nature.

The palette has been informed by Claire Kirkup’s night stalkers, a contemporary work with earthy neural tones, streaks of blush pink and earthy greens

The materials have been selected to reinforce the earthy concept while using fluid shapes and strong textural materials to add to the motif of sensory exploration.

A relaxing meditative space that uses a neutral palette, mix of natural light and materiality to create calming dreamlike environment

A neutral palette of highly textured finishes has been selected to cater to a large demographic who can make the space their own while keeping the sophistication of high-end materials.

The earthy tones and materials have also been selected to enhance the connection to nature already existing in the home.

Brief: Design a traveling exhibition space to display a chair by an emerging or a well-known designer.

Exhibition space is to reflect the concept behind the chair you have selected and reference the designer’s body of work.
