Embracing Your True Self and Letting Go of Perfection LivingUnfiltered:

Join me in welcoming Raquel Benitah, a curvy holistic nutritionist, who lifts women up for a living Through realness, she is teaching what it looks like to lead our lives through the lens of joy, happiness and fulfillment Her perspective is soul nourishing

Together, we held space for a paradigm shifting conversation around confidence and self-love.

J:Inaworldwherethereisnotalotofrealness, youarerefreshinglythesame behind-the-scenes of social media as you appear online as an influencer. How didyouarriveatthisplaceofshowingyourauthenticjourney?

R: The content that I made seven years ago was very different than it is today My account was called Better Sore than Sorry, which now is very triggering I had an eating disorder and was over exercising In 2021, I knewIneededtorebrand Iwasn’tbeingmeanymore

I really switched my account 180 degrees and changed the account name to just be my own name. I made this career into something that feels normal and natural. I don't want to “turn on” for social media. I go to therapy and have a balanced lifestyle. I think about relatability and what women feel every day We all look in the mirror each morning and feel some type of way I decided to take the realness route and it's been amazing

J: My oldest daughter is radically different than I was at her age I was worried all the time about what I looked like in terms of how skinny I was Skinny was the barometer I don't see that translating into her world now It is so refreshing I was raised to be tidy, pretty and nice for positive attention Then it became work hard and succeed at all costs that gave the positive affirmations It is challenging as a woman with so many contradicting messages, especially the roles of masculine and feminine energy that are currentlyveryprevalenttopics

R: I have a lot of masculine energy I grew up in a house with two older brothers and was a tomboy I played hockey and did whatever my brothers did I grew up not being feminine I was a sporty gal, and even today I'll opt for oversized clothing and sneakers, comfortable things that make me feel confident. I'll also lean into my femininity and love to put on adressoraskirt. It'sanamazingfeelingwhenyouareconfidentenoughto allowbothmasculineandfemininetoshine.

J: I really appreciate you mentioning that because it has never been about being one or the other. It's about celebrating all the different facets of who weare

R: I love that it ebbs and flows, just like body image and weight I have nothing on my nails right now, but for six years prior I had long tips I always do my hair, but I'll walk around all day in active wear with no makeup Itreallyjustdependsonwhatevermakesyoufeelbest

J: The more we can be real online, the more it serves everyone I had a mentor who was very filtered online. When I met her in person it wasn’t the same person. I would have walked by her on a sidewalk and not recognized her Irememberfeelingshocked, withatingeofsadness, thatshefeltlikeshe had to look differently to be seen online We would all love and accept her exactlyhowsheis

R: If you had a meeting in person or went to do a TED talk, you wouldn't be able to do a filter I used Face Tune in the past before I transitioned my account to be more about body image After my eating disorder, I gained around 60 pounds As I was gaining weight, there were a couple times that I slimmed my thighs online. But I realized, I want to be honest with my audience. That is when I decided to stop. I am going throughthisjourneyandfeellikeotherpeoplecanrelatetoit.

J: My two younger children are being deeply affected right now by peer comments I attribute it to social media They don't have social media, but their friends do My daughter is very thin, and people call her horrible names My son is the opposite and gets teased all the time He comes home crying for the way he looks, and she comes home crying on total opposite ends of the spectrum Words can create such a deep wound in a child's upbringing

“CURVY AND NUTRITION ARE TWO THINGS THAT DON'T REALLY PLAY WELL TOGETHER. AS A NUTRITIONIST, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO BE PETITE AND ONLY EAT FRUITS, VEGETABLES, AND PROTEIN. I'M NOT THAT.”

R: Kids don't realize that one thing said on the playground affects someone for the rest of their life. There are comments that boys and girls made when I was a little kid that I still remember. It's sad those things happenatschool WhichiswhyIpreachalottoparentsandgotoschools anddotalkswith6,7,and8thgradegirlsaboutbodyimageandfood

J: When you had an eating disorder was there anything your parents or your best friend could have done to help you? Is there anything you wish someone had said? Anything that you could give as advice to somebody else who maybehasanudgeorispotentiallydealingwiththisintheirownfamily?

R: That is a tough question. People have asked me that before and I always tread lightly because every single person is different. It is not a onesize-fits-all approach, depending on what eating disorder they're dealing with Iwasdealingwithorthorexia, whichiswantingultimatecontrolover the food you're eating You want to know every ingredient So, it's very different than bulimia or anorexia When my family would come over for a birthday party, I wouldn't eat birthday cake I don't think there is one specificthingsomeonecouldhavesaidtosnapmeoutofit

I was ready for help because I was physically and mentally drained I cried all the time and was anxious and depressed. My mom saw that and said, “we need to get help because you can't live like this anymore.” The thing that saved me the most was therapy I went to a therapist in Toronto who specializes in disordered eating It was very hard I cried for 60 minutes of the 60-minute sessions every time we spoke I went to her once a weekevery week - for 4 months Then slowly took a sip of coke and had a piece ofchocolate

It is hard to know what to say or what to do to help someone Just let them know that you're there for them Some people don't want to know that they have an eating disorder and need to hit rock bottom to realize it, which is so sad. When I was at my heaviest weight and wanted to start losing weight before my eating disorder, I would cry and confide in my mom We went to a nutritionist and that was the first positive step for me To want to lose weight, I had to hit rock bottom Same thing when I had aneatingdisorder,Ihadtohitrockbottomtoknowthatitwastime

J: Observe, listen, and champion your children, or those you love when you see them suffering It’s not about “fixing” someone but loving someone through it Your mom was a champion of yours and was available She listenedandrespondedwithoutshameormakingitaboutherself.Instead, she soughtouttheexpertsthatcouldsupportyou.

R: Both my parents were amazing My mom and I are super close, as I'm the only girl When I transitioned my social media account to be more about body image, and while I was going through recovery, we would get in fights because I was frustrated with myself I would explain things to her, and we would have deep conversations about the ways I wish she had parented when it came to food and body image I am not a parent, but as achildIcangiveadvicetomyownparents Welearntogether

J: There's an unbreakable maternal instinct as a woman Sometimes in wanting the best, we say things that are more of a projection of our own thoughts and belief system My mom and I have talked about a specific comment she made during my childhood She doesn’t even remember saying it She never meant to hurt me, but it's the simplest little nuances or words thatcancreateawound Asamom,Ifeardoingthat

R: There is so much pressure as a parent It's important to have these conversations When I have kids, I don't want my parents to ask them, “why are you having French fries?” Or tell them chocolate milk has too much sugar That is going to be my job as a parent Not theirs I will navigatethosethingsmyselfwithmyhusbandandkids.

J: Good for you for setting that boundary I applaud you for having those conversations prior to having children because it will really help, not just your future children, but the relationship between you and your parents as well When we know better, we get to do better through boundaries, expectationsandhealing

R: It's called generational trauma for a reason When somebody doesn't nipitinthebuditgoesfromonegenerationtothenext I'mgratefulthere are people, like us, who have platforms. There's not one ounce of selfishness in explaining to my parents why they should not be saying X,Y and Z I don’t want anyone to struggle with body image or food Therearewayswecannavigatetolessenthestruggle

J: I want to believe we can shift this Who gave anyone permission to comment on another person ’ s body? Especially unkind comments on other people'sappearance

R: I get a lot of comments Sometimes, I purposely make reels that are triggering because it's fun to see what people come up with. Curvy and nutrition are two things that don't really play well together. As a nutritionist, you are expected to be petite and only eat fruits, vegetables, and protein I'm not that As somebody who has healed my relationship with food, it makes me laugh I know, as I am reading negative comments, that hurt people hurt people I don't believe this is how we are meant to be with one another I believe we're supposed to be loving, compassionate, and understanding We are supposed to applaud and celebrateeachother Somehow, wehavereallylostourway

J: Pounds on the scale should not equate to how happy we are. I have observed the judgments regarding body liberation and body acceptance. I even have friends who have commented that as a society, we went from one extreme to another They say we went from doing anything to be skinny which was unhealthy to now accepting being overweight as though that means we are not looking after ourselves and are unhealthy How do you respondtothis? It’sasthoughwecan’twin

R: What they are asking is a very valid question I am happy and I feel good That is what matters to me I feel very confident in what I promote andthatworksforme.

J: When I was by a pool, I would always strategically sit and cover myself up I remember a pivotal moment in my life when a peer of mine, with a larger body, had on a cheeky bottom bikini She was having so much fun, walking around the poolfreelyandconfidently AtthatmomentIrealized howattractedIwastoher confidenceandIdesperatelydesiredthatformyself Shewasnothidingherbody orsittingonaloungechaircoveredup Iwassofuelledbyherjoy Iwasn’thaving any fun I wasn’t meeting people or enjoying the moment I was sitting strategically in a chair Who was the healthier and happier version in this scenario? It certainly was not me I will always remember her teaching me what matters-theenjoymentoflife

R:Ilovethat!Confidenceandhappinessexudespositiveenergy.Ithelpsother people realize that they can feel that too. It's not about the number on the scale I obviously have days where I don't feel amazing in my body, so I take the steps that make me feel better I continue to work out I drink more water Ultimately, day after day, I try my best to put out positive energy I am so happy, andIlovemyself

J:Whatisconfidenceforyou?Howwouldyoudescribeit?

R: Confidence is freedom from needing validation Freedom from caring what other people are thinking. Freedom from holding myself back from beautiful experiences. Freedom to wear what I want. Freedom to celebrate whoIam

Confidence is being able to go anywhere, do anything and feel so much selfworth

J: What could a woman do with the time she gains by not constantly thinking about what she is eating or what her body looks like? How could she feel? The options are endless What could you create? How could you deepen your relationships? Who could you meet? What could you explore? What other career could you start? How much more time could you spend with your children? Food issupposedtobeenjoyed, tasted, andsavored

R: Yes! The options are endless You could really do anything You could start a business You could travel Imagine what is possible if you gave yourself permission to not not think about food or your body Instead think aboutmovingyourbodyandcaringforyourself!

Confidence is freedom from needing validation. Freedom from caring what other people are thinking. Freedom from holding myself back from beautiful experiences. Freedom to wear what I want. Freedom to celebrate who I am.

InterestCausesPleasureandPleasurePowersSuccess

I teach that pleasure fuels success because it’s a form of aliveness Instead of chasing external validation, you root your decisions in what feels alive, what turns you on, and what genuinely interests you Here’s how this plays out when you stop obsessing over worthiness and start focusing on interest:

1 YouBecomeYourGreatestAlly

When you focus on whether you’re worthy, you’re stuck in your head, spinning your wheels. Shifting to interest gets you out of analysis paralysis and into inspired action. You’re not trying to prove anything you’re simplyexploringwhatexcitesyou

2 YouTapintoResilience

Interest fuels resilience When you’re deeply curious and invested, setbacks don’tfeellikeproofyou’renotenough they’rejustpartoftheprocess

3 YouCreateAMagneticCharge

When you’re genuinely alive about what you’re doing, people feel it. Interest is magnetic. It attracts opportunities, collaborators, and clients becauseyou’reoperatingfromaplaceoftruthandpassion.

ReframeIt

So, how do you make this shift? It starts with the questions you’re asking Herearethreepowerfulreframes:

1 From “Am I Worthy of This?” to “Does This Idea Make Me Feel Alive?”

Insteadoffixatingonwhetheryou’redeserving,focusonwhetherthisgoal genuinelyexcitesyou Letyourjoyandcuriositylead

2.From“WhatWillPeopleThink?”to“WhatDoIWanttoCreate?”

Worrying about other people’s opinions keeps you small. Shift your attention to what you’re passionate about building and why it makes you feelalive

3 From“WhatIfIFail?”to“WhatWillILearn?”

FAILURE ISN’T THE OPPOSITE OF SUCCESS; IT’S PART OF SUCCESS WHEN YOU APPROACH YOUR DREAMS WITH CURIOSITY, EVEN SETBACKS BECOME OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH AND OFTENTIMES LEAD TO THOSE LIFE CHANGING IDEASWITHTHEHIGHESTROI

YOURFUTURESELF BELIEVEME,ASK IFYOUDON’T

Imagine being 80 years old Look down at your hand and notice the texture of your skin and stories in your eyes. Tap into the wisdom held in your heart. Ask your inner 80-year-old, “What was more valuable to focus on? Worthiness or interest?” With your youth behind you and a lifetime of evidence to back it up, your 80-year-old self has some valuable advice a warmrealitycheckaboutwhatreallymattersintheend Becausesomeday

“BECAUSE SOMEDAY WE’LL HAVE MORE MEMORIES BEHIND US THAN ADVENTURES AHEAD. AND IN THOSE REFLECTIVE MOMENTS, WE’LL WANT TO KNOW THAT WE TRULY FOCUSED ON WHATMATTERED.”

we’ll have more memories behind us than adventures ahead And in those reflective moments, we’ll want to know that we truly focused on what mattered We’ll want to know we went all in on our dreams We’ll realize that the only true judge of worth is our future self measuring howwevaluedourtimeandchoices.

The next time you’re hesitating, ask yourself: Am I interested enough to go all in? Iftheanswerisyes, trustthat everything else will figure itself out Because the truth is, you don’t need to be worthy you just need to care enough to start Your future self is cheering you on, and soamI

Therearemomentsinlifethatdemand

a shift moments that force you to confront your values, recalibrate your priorities, and redefine what’s possible For me, that moment came just three weeks after giving birth to my son As I nursed my perfect new baby in the stillness of the night, an email arrived thatshookmetomycore:

“I’mgoingtobesued.”

I had meticulously planned my sixmonth maternity leave to ensure my company ran smoothly Yet, one client feeling my maternity leave was “unprofessional” threatened legal action In an instant, the sacred time I had carved out for postpartum recovery was hijacked by a system that fails to understand the tender and miraculous rebirth of a new mother, it’s all business That email was my personal invitation I realized I had to build something new a community where moms didn’t have to compromise But it wasn’t just about

BUILDING A VILLAGE, NOT JUST A BUSINESS:

Purpose, Not Sacrifice

thebusinessIhadbuilt.Atthatmoment,Imadethebolddecision

toburndowntheverythingIhadworkedsohardtocreate myhighly successful and lucrative marketing agency I walked away from a world that no longer aligned with who I was becoming. It was a raw and vulnerable decision. I was exposed, grappling with a new identity, while holdinganewbabyinmyarms.Thatmomentmarkedthebeginningof a new era for me a new version of who I am in this world, where I could build not just a business, but a community rooted in authenticity, support, and connection It was a reflection of what I deeply needed After more than 20 years of building communities for nonprofits like United Way and TEDx, and being honored as Community Builder of the Year, I’ve learned that thriving group dynamics aren’t built on empty networking they’re rooted in deep, genuine relationships This was my chance to rewrite the narrative. I could create a space where moms wouldn’t have to choose between their careers and their families aspacewherevulnerabilitywasn’tjustaccepted, butcelebrated.

Taking a six-month maternity leave wasn’t a luxury it was a necessity I didn’t step away to rest I stepped into a whole new world of the deepest love I've ever known, change, and monumental identity shifts But instead of the support I anticipated, I was met with criticism. The narrative that career success and family life can’t coexist is a myth and we’re being called to change the plotline The traditional business model, built on hustle and selfsacrifice, doesn’t work for moms As a community-building expert, I teach entrepreneurial moms how to be in community that celebrates both their professional and personal lives without apology. Leadership isn’t about grinding into the ground it’s about embracing authenticity and building a community that encourages both growth and vulnerability When you lead with authenticity, you build connectionsthatmatter Youcreatespaces where real relationships are inevitable, where people show up as their full selves mother, CEO, and everything in between This is how we build communities that elevate and empower, where success isn’t limited byoutdatednorms.

The Business of Community: Moms First, Business Owners Second

The business world thrives on competition and exclusion But that’s not the world we need. Leadership today is about creating spaces where people are seen for who they are moms first, business owners second. After two decades of community-building, I know that successful communities don’t happen by accident they’re deliberately designed with authenticity, connection, and, yes, vulnerability In the spaces we create, business and motherhood exist without guilt Moms are empowered to integrate both without compromise We’re rewriting the narrative where ambition and motherhood aren’t at odds they’re one andthesame That’sthenewreality, andit’stimetostepintoit

“WHENMOMSARESUPPORTEDINBOTH THEIRPERSONALANDPROFESSIONALLIVES, THEYBREAKTHROUGHBARRIERS. ANYTHINGBECOMESPOSSIBLE.”

Turning Adversity Into Momentum

The legal threat I received could’ve crippled my confidence It could’ve made me question my abilities Instead, I saw it for what it was: an opportunity to disrupt outdated norms and build something that truly serves entrepreneurial moms. What we’ve built isn’t just a business; it’s a movement aforcethat’sredefiningwhatsuccesslookslike.Whenmoms are supported in both their personal and professional lives, they break throughbarriers Anythingbecomespossible

Redefining Networking: The New Model for Moms in Business

For too long, success in business has been measured by profits and individual achievement But I’ve learned that true success comes from building real relationships The old networking model is obsolete It forces moms to choose between childcare and their business goals That’s not only ineffective it’s broken In traditional business events, you won’t see babies, strollers, or nursing moms But in spaces like Made for Mothers where leadership is nurtured, we make room for all of it. We’ve intentionally created environments where business and motherhood coexist without compromise. This new model of networking doesn’t just allow it it demands it Real leadership isn’t about forcing people to leave parts of themselves at the door It’s about embracing the whole person Our meetups are a place where business and motherhood complement each other, not compete This is the future of networking communitybuildingthatdoesn’tjustsupportsuccess, butmakesitinevitable

Building Legacies, Not Just Businesses

We’re not just building businesses we’re building legacies. Our goal is to create a future where moms lead, break barriers, and make an undeniable mark on the world. It’s about crafting success that goes beyond today’s bottom line We’re shaping businesses that will transform the landscape for generations of mothers in business, and for the children who watch andlearntochasetheirdreams justliketheirmom

Your Moment: Lead Unapologetically

This is it The future of leadership isn’t being shaped by outdated models it’s being shaped by moms who embrace their dual roles with audacity and purpose Through our meetups, mastermind, podcast, and online membership, we’re equipping women with the tools, resources, and community to take their businesses to the next level If you’re craving a community that truly understands your journey as a CEO mom, it’s time tostepup.Leadunapologetically, succeedwithoutcompromise, andbuild the legacy you’ve always dreamed of The future you deserve is within reach everymomisrootingforyou

Entrepreneurial Etiquette

INENTREPRENEURSHIP LANGUAGE&ETIQUETTE THEARTOF

IIn business, it’s easy to focus on strategy, marketing and consistent innovation Yet, one of the most overlooked and most powerful tools we have is our language and the way we communicate Howwespeak, writeandARTiculateourselves isn’t just about relaying information. It is about the impression we create, the relationships and reputation we build and the legacy we leave

As entrepreneurs, our words are often the first introduction someone has to us Whether it is through a conversation, an email, or the way we present ourselves online, we are constantly communicating The questionis, areyoudoingitwithintention?

We live in a fast-paced world where attention spans are short, but impressions last. The language we use can either open doors or quietly close them. Sloppy communication, rushed emails, filler words, or dismissive tones, can undermine even the best business ideas Being ARTiculate on the other hand, commands respect, fosters connection andbuildstrustalmostimmediately

Being intentional with your words isn’t about sounding “perfect” or using big vocabulary It is about clarity, kindness and confidence It’s about knowing when to speak, when to listen and how to express yourselfinawaythatleavespeoplebetterthanyoufoundthem.

Here are five principles of Entrepreneurial Etiquette in communication:

BeClear,NotComplicated: 1

In an attempt to sound professional, many entrepreneurs overcomplicate their language Simplicity is elegance Say what you mean directly, kindly and clearly Your audience will appreciate it A confusedmindsaysnoeverytime

2 DroptheFillerWords:

Words like “just,” “um,” “like,” and “you know” dilute your message They creep into everyday speech, often unnoticed, but trimmingthemstrengthensyourpresenceandmakesyousoundmore assured. This also reigns true to cuss words and slang. In a world where we are accepting and popularizing “everything”, there is power inspeakingwithpure, potentandeffectivewords.

3 PauseBeforeYouRespond:

In conversation, silence can be powerful Taking a breath before answering a question shows thoughtfulness and prevents reactive communication People notice when you respond versus when you react It shows a great level of leadership and poise It is respected and appreciated

4.MindYourTone(EveninText):

Written communication lacks body language and facial cues, so your words carry extra weight Re-read your emails and messages before sending Are they respectful? Clear? Would you feel good receiving them? This is especially true in difficult situations Reacting with emotion can perpetuate the circumstance Remain steady and calm always

5 LeadwithKindness,FollowwithStrength:

Etiquette is not about being overly polite to the point of peoplepleasing. It’s about having a strong, confident voice that uplifts others rather than diminishes. Stand firm in your boundaries and beliefs and dosowithgrace

Every conversation you have is a chance to represent not just your business, but yourself Are you someone who listens? Who speaks withpurpose?Wholeavesothersfeelingunderstoodandvalued?

Great entrepreneurs know that their success is not built solely on what they sell. It is built on how they connect and make people feel and connectionbeginswiththeartofcommunication.

As you move through your week, pay attention to the words you use Notice if you are rushing, filling space with unnecessary words, or speaking from reaction instead of reflection Small shifts in language can have a massive ripple effect on how you’re perceived and more importantly, howyoufeelaboutyourselfasaleader

AT THE END OF THE DAY, BEING AN ENTREPRENEUR ISN’T JUST ABOUT THE BUSINESS YOU BUILD. IT IS ABOUT THE PERSON YOU BECOME WHILE BUILDING IT BECOMING SOMEONE WHO SPEAKS WITH CLARITY, WARMTH AND INTENTION WILL CREATE A RIPPLE EFFECT AND THAT IS A LEGACY WORTHLEAVING

“Being a mother to daughters is an honor and a mirror”

Being a mother to daughters is an honor and a mirror, reflecting back to methewaysinwhichIwanttobreakcyclesandcreatesomethingnew It’s notjustaboutraisingtwoincredibleyoungwomen,it’saboutrewritingthe scriptforthemandforme.

I’ve learned that daughters don’t just listen to what we say, they internalize how we live They notice if we shrink in discomfort and dim our light to conform They also notice when we stand tall in conviction and hold our power They see if we are kind to ourselves or if we criticize our reflection in the mirror It’s humbling to know that my every action is a quiet lesson tothem, shapingwhattheybelieveispossibleforthemselves

Growing up, I didn’t know what it meant to feel free in my identity I was taught to take up less space both physically and emotionally My worth felt tied to my appearance as well as my ability to make life easier for others. The praise came, but it was hollow because it often came when I was less of myself and more a representation of my parents and grandparents

I know the weight of growing up under the expectations of being “good enough,” and I refuse to let my daughters carry that They are worthy not because they’re pretty, or polite, or accomplish a list of things that look goodonpaperbutbecausetheyarefullythemselves

In our home, we talk about strength over size. We celebrate their boldness, their humor, their ideas. We talk about failures as much as successes because we know that resilience is where the magic lives. When they look inthemirror,Iwantthemtoseeloveandacceptance, notflaws

More than anything, I want my daughters to believe in their ability to createthelivestheywant

To speak up when something doesn’t feel right To know that their voices matter because they do I remind myself every day that if I want that for them,Ihavetoliveitformyself.

At the end of the day, my daughters are my greatest accountability partners They don’t need me to be perfect, but they need me to be honest, wholeandunafraidtokeepbecomingthebestversionofmyself

They remind me every day of the incredible women they are becoming and theyinspiremetokeepdoingthesame

They are better than I am and that’s a sign to me that I have done something right. I love watching them live in all of their emotions freely, dreaming and pivoting constantly. Mostly, I am in awe of their tenacity and determination to never settle. It’s really breathtaking. Rise up my darlings Take up space and never apologize for who you are when being kind, fierceandhonest

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A GIRL’S GIRL

WRITTENBYHANNAHNIEVESCEOANDCOFOUNDEROFMAISON

Being a "girl's girl" isn’t about surface-level gestures It’s about trust, loyalty, and showing up for the women in your life in meaningful ways. It’s being the friend who picks up the phone at 10pm., offering support when someone needs to vent or celebrate. At its core, being a girl's girl is about genuinely investing in and uplifting the women aroundyou, fosteringasenseofcamaraderieratherthancompetition

This ethos is woven into the very fabric of my life and work I’ve experienced firsthand how powerful it can be to have a network of womenwhonotonlysupportbutcelebrateeachother

One moment that stands out was the launch of our private network, Maison. Over 60 women flew in from across the country to support our mission a mission rooted in authentic connection and collaboration. At the time, Maison was just beginning, and this summit was our stake in the ground To see women rallying behind one another, sharing stories, and genuinely investing in each other’s growth was a pivotal moment for me It was a testament to the strengthandbeautyoffemalerelationships

Maisonitselfisanetworkbuiltonthisfoundation

Authentic connection isn’t just an aspiration for us; it’s our DNA. From the very beginning, our mission has been to create spaces where women can collaborate and connect not just professionally but personally It’s about fostering an environment where women can thrive, knowingtheyhaveacommunitycheeringthemoneverystepof theway

Beingagirl'sgirlisn’talwaysaboutgrandgestures, though Sometimes it’s about quiet, steady support the kind I experienced when I was pregnantwithmyfirstchildwhilebuildingastartup

It was a season of joy and excitement, but also of fear. Could I balance itall?WouldIsucceedasbothamotherandanentrepreneur?

My co-founder was there from beginning to end She stood by me throughtheupsanddowns, thelabor, andthepostpartumperiod Her empathy and encouragement gave me the strength to navigate this new season with confidence. That’s what being a girl’s girl looks like: standing shoulder-to-shoulder with someone and reminding them they’renotalone

The traits of a girl’s girl supportive, trustworthy, empathetic, encouraging, and non-competitive aren’t just aspirational They’re practical tools we can use to build deeper, more meaningful relationships And these relationships have a ripple effect When one woman rises, she brings others with her This is the spirit we see every dayatMaison:womensteppingup, showingup, andliftingeachother higher.

Beingagirl’sgirldoesn’tmeanperfection It’snotaboutalwaysgetting it right Instead, it’s about effort about showing up even when it’s hard and committing to building connections that matter And it’s not about excluding or disliking men, but about recognizing the unique strength and beauty of female bonds It’s about believing that there’s enough space for everyone to thrive and that collaboration will always outweighcompetition

The takeaway is simple but powerful: the world needs more girl’s girls. We need women who show up for each other with open hearts and unwavering support Women who are unafraid to cheer each other on andsharetheirwins Womenwhoknowthattheconnectionswebuild todaywillpavethewayforthegenerationsthatfollow

As we continue to build Maison and grow this community of incredible women, I’m reminded of a simple truth: connection is everything When women come together, they are unstoppable And in a world that often pits us against one another, being a girl’s girl is a revolutionaryact.It’sachoicetofosterlove,loyalty,andsupport.And it’sareminderthattogether, wecanachieveanything.

Maison is a private network for high-net-worth female founders who are redefining success, influence, and wealth on their terms. More than just a community, Maison is a powerful ecosystem designed for women at the top of their game visionaries, innovators, and changemakers who are scaling their businesses, expanding their influence, and building lasting legacies. Inside Maison, members gain access to a curated circle of powerhouse peers, high-caliber events, and strategic connections that open doors to new opportunities. It’s not to say that money, success and accolades are not a part of a liberated woman’s life It’s simply that it doesn’t take precedence and it loses its importance to feel fully aliveandworthy Youfeelvaluedandloveddespiteanythingworldlyandimposed
