BECKS HARROP DESIGN

I’m originally from New Zealand, currently living in Jakarta, Indonesia as a freelance designer. I have always been passionate about creativity and fostered this at art school at university. Throughout my career in the creative industries I have developed a multidisciplinary style of work which covers interior, graphic, branding and surface pattern design.

The textile indiustry in Indonesia has been influencial in my appreciation for handmade textiles. I love the integration of handmade and digital design as it allows for alot of freedom within the creative process.

I like to incorporate my passion for geometric shapes alongside the organic form in a light hearted playful manner.

Collaborating with business owners to bring their visions to life through creativity is my passion.

Inspired by the mobile work of American sculpture Alexander Calder.

The form, shape and motion of these mobiles creates a balance of sophistication and playfulness.

The Elements collection is a creation of all shapes and forms that exist within interior spaces and ultimately give personality to a space.

A series of handpainted studies to mimic the handmade nature of sculpture, then assembled digitally to create final artworks.
