Halloween, also known as All Hallows' Eve, is a holiday celebrated on October 31st. It has its roots in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, which marked the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter.
Associated with darkness, ghosts, and fear.
•Costumes: Witches, vampires, ghosts, etc.
• "Trick or treat": Children asking for candy door-todoor.
• Decoration with carved pumpkins.


• Carved pumpkins with eyes, nose, and mouth.
•Bats, ghosts, spiders, etc.
•Colors: Black, orange, purple.


DAY OF THE DEAD IS A MEXICAN HOLIDAY CELEBRATED ON NOVEMBER 1ST AND 2ND. IT'S A JOYFUL AND COLORFUL CELEBRATION WHERE WE REMEMBER AND HONOR THOSE WHO HAVE PASSED AWAY.
•Offerings: Altars with food, drinks, photos, and objects the deceased liked.
• Visits to cemeteries: Graves are decorated with flowers and candles are lit.
• Traditional food: Pan de muerto, mole, tamales, etc.

A joyful celebration, full of color and music, where those who have passed are remembered.
