Third hotel of NG Group, Güral Afyon Wellness & Convention has come into service. NG Hotels & Resorts CEO Hediye Güral Gür said that Turkey has not get a share of 200 billion euro-worth tourism market up to now. Gür said: “Turkey will get a share of tourism market for the first time through Güral Afyon. Out target is Europe and people from Middle East who are interested in this kind of tourism” Gür said they are expecting an increase in their foreign tourist number with the airport opening which is planned to be in 29th of October; and Güral Afyon will give service as a physiotherapy center, too. She added that: “There are hundreds of thermal complex in Turkey. Any one of them does not meet the health and hygiene requirements. We built the biggest complex of the region with 9.500 m2- thermal area. We will see that as well as domestic tourists, European tourists also will come to Güral Afyon as they go to the south beaches of Turkey, because the world has discovered the importance of thermal tourism. Foreign tourists are in search of a holiday which they can take rest instead of sea tourism. We are confident that we will provide the best service in Güral Afyon”. Afyon will be the new wellness destination Güral Afyon will be able to give service to 1.028 people at the same time with 428 rooms. one of them has 1.500 people capacity, healing thermal water having the same temperature in both summer and winter and 2.200 m2 recreation space. 265 people were employed in the hotel and employee training was given great importance before opening. Half of the employees were chosen among people who do not have any work experience and they were each trained during 25 days, totally 6.710 hours.
