This Editor's note is from Tsakani , a slave of Jesus Christ. I greet you in the MIGHTY NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. Imagine being told the first verse about being given power to tread on scorpions and serpents and over ALL the power of the enemy. I can imagine how excited and relieved the disciples were, knowing they wouldn't do anything with their intellect but POWER FROM THE LIVIVNG GOD! Then being told to: not rejoice that the spirits are subject to you but rather invest the joy in knowing that your name is written in the book of life! How many of us are really concerned about our names being in the book of life and remaining there. We see today there being commotion and false teachers and prophets in the church because this powerful statement by Daddy Jesus has been ignored . In fact people would rather have power to do all these miracles, be known and worshipped than actually be concerned about their place in eternity. Some have built their lives here on earth forgetting that no one is permanent here. We are all passing by and after passing by, then comes serious judgement. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. As much as anointing is important for this present life, having our names written and remaining in the book of life is much more important. I pray you will be encouraged to shift the focus from earth to heaven. Oh what a time it is to be alive. It's not by chance BUT GRACE that you're reading this END TIME MAGAZINE. The Glory of the Latter Temple by: Dr André and Jenny Roebert Haggai 2:8-9 (NLT): "The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says the Lord of Heaven's Armies. The future glory of this Temple will be greater than its past glory, says the Lord of Heaven's Armies. And in this place I will bring peace. I, the Lord of Heaven's Armies, have spoken!" A remnant of the Israelites had returned to Jerusalem following captivity. While there, Haggai spoke to them about prioritising building the Lord's house before building their own. With repentant, obedient hearts, they heeded the call. However, their hopeful expectations were shattered when they realized the rebuilt temple was nothing compared to the glorious one King Solomon had originally built, generations before. Haggai encouraged the disappointed people, reminding them of God's promise. The future glory of the temple would be unmatched by any other before it. He was alluding to the prophecies of the Messiah. Jesus Christ, the light of the world would come as the expression of the glory of God. John 1:14 says, "And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honour, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from His Father, full of grace (favour, loving-kindness) and truth." And now we live in the reality of that prophecy - we have become the temple of the Holy Spirit Who lives in us! We are the temple not made of human hands, and we posses this precious treasure, the glory of His Presence, in our earthen vessels of flesh. Take time to become more aware of Who you carry within you today - as you turn your affection towards Him - you're guaranteed to experience the tangible Presence of His glory within you.

Brother, if you are divorced and you have remarried, you are living in fornication. Act 17:30-31 Truly, then, God overlooking the times of ignorance, now He strictly commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day in which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He appointed, having given proof to all by raising Him from the dead. Mark 10:2-12 2 Some Pharisees came and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?” 3 “What did Moses command you?” he replied. 4 They said, “Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce and send her away.” 5 “It was because your hearts were hard that Moses wrote you this law,” Jesus replied. 6 “But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ 7 ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, 8 and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” 10 When they were in the house again, the disciples asked Jesus about this. 11 He answered, “Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her. 12 And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery.” Luke 16:18 18 “Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. 1 Corinthians 7:39 39 A woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but he must belong to the Lord. Ephesians 5:33 33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Matthew 19:6-9 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” 7 “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man gives his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?” 8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.” Romans 7:232 For example, by law, a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him. 3 So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man.

She shall continue to be his wife; he must not divorce her as long as he lives. Jeremiah 3:1 1 “If a man divorces his wife and she leaves him and marries another man, should he return to her again? Would not the land be completely defiled? But you have lived as a prostitute with many lovers— would you now return to Me?” declares the LORD. Malachi 2:16 16 “The man who hates and divorces his wife,” says the LORD, the God of Israel, “does violence to the one he should protect,” says the LORD Almighty. So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful. 1 Corinthians 7:11-13 11 But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife. 12 To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. 13 And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. Jeremiah 3:8 8 I gave faithless Israel her certificate of divorce and sent her away because of all her adulteries. Yet I saw that her unfaithful sister Judah had no fear; she also went out and committed adultery. Isaiah 50:1 1 This is what the LORD says: “Where is your mother’s certificate of divorce with which I sent her away? Or to which of my creditors did I sell you? Because of your sins, you were sold; because of your transgressions, your mother was sent away. Deuteronomy 24:1-41 If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house, 2 and if after she leaves his house she becomes the wife of another man, 3 and her second husband dislikes her and writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house, or if he dies, 4 then her first husband, who divorced her, is not allowed to marry her again after she has been defiled. That would be detestable in the eyes of the LORD. Do not bring sin upon the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance. Hebrews 13:4 4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.

CHAPTER 9 FALSE CHURCHES AND OCCULTIC GOSPEL SINGER IN HELL They were boasting and saying, “We are good children, FALSE CHURCHES I was moving in the city when I saw the first church. I said in my heart, “I must get into this church so that they can pray for me.” When I got into this church, I saw people sitting on the ground. They had chains on their hands. They were many groups seated in circles around with flags of different countries. I saw that these people were guarded by soldiers that were four meters tall. These soldiers were holding javelins and they were coldblooded. They were keeping these souls. I tried to talk to these souls that were in bondage. I saw that they were crying. Quickly I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Not all churches are good. Not all churches are churches of God. There are people that are bound in chains because of the churches that they attend. Many people’s souls are captured because of the churches they attend. That is why many people do not see the hand of God because they are bound when they go to pray. They will always wonder and they will cry. If you stay in this church, you will be captured like these souls that you see in bondage.” Then the Lord took me to Hell. The place was really dark and the sand was red. It was a huge place. I could not understand this place because it does not exist on Earth.

However, I saw that flying demons that were moving in this place were mocking and laughing at them. I saw our singer Brother Charles saying to the Angel of Death, Nikkel, “I will not accept this. I have served the Lord and I sang for Him for many years. It is impossible. I cannot be here. I must leave this place.” The demon that was laughing at him replied and said to him, “If you had really served God, you would not fall into this place. The people that are falling here are people that have failed to obey God. They followed the example of our master by refusing the way of their Creator and God. These are the people who come here.” As Brother Charles had protested, his life was projected on the screen. I watched the life review of Brother Charles and I saw the secret and evil deeds he committed that brought him to Hell. I cannot say openly the sin that brought him to Hell. However, the journalist is insisting that I should be talking about the evil deeds that led Brother Charles to Hell. Beloved, the Bible says you shall not worship other gods but the Lord.

Souls that fell in this place were saying, “What is this world? This place is not Earth and it does not exist.” Jesus said, “The sand is red in this place because of the fire burning underneath.” Then I saw huge crowds in a long queue. I saw these people were silent.

GOSPEL SINGER IN HELL I was watching this queue when I noticed the Gospel singer who was wandering the Earth. He was in the queue where people were watching the reviews of their lives. When his turn arrived, he stood before the throne of the Angel of Death, Nikkel.

I saw a scene at the beginning of his career when he was about to start his musical career. He went to consult a mystic in order to be famous and to excel in the industry. It was a shock to see a Gospel artist

Brother Charles was successful in his career and people liked him a lot. No one in the evangelical population could imagine that he had resorted to occultism to have success. Brother, this is terrible. We have here a case of a servant of God that has resorted to mysticism to have success. et the Lord is more than willing to give His servant the anointing to excel and to make him succeed. Everything you are looking in this life, the Lord can give it to you. The Bible says elevation comes from the Lord. “For not from the east nor from the west nor from the

God’s children have his albums. God’s children still hear his songs since he was really intense. By listening to his songs, they are inviting demons. Since Brother Charles was popular, many sisters sought his help in their careers. Actually, I watched on the screen, scenes of Brother Charles sleeping with singers and married women who sought breakthroughs in their careers too. Brother Charles used his popularity to profit from sisters. He was secretly living a lifestyle of adultery. Many female singers of Congo slept with Brother Charles as they were seeking elevation. As the life of Brother Charles was being projected on the screen, I saw a scene where he had sexual intercourse with one of his relatives. This was incest, which is a sin before the Lord. In his life review, I saw that Brother Charles, who was popular in the country was going out with women who were already married. He used his popularity for sex. If you have sex with a member of your family, you are committing incest. You must understand that you will not escape God’s judgment. Brother Charles watched the movie of his life, how he slept with his relative and how he was sleeping with married women and how he resorted to occultism to have success in his career.

When he had finished watching the movie of his life, he was in tears. He could no longer protest and complain for the testament of existence had recorded everything he ever did. And everything was projected on the screen. I saw that Brother Charles was still in denial. He was overwhelmed and he could not accept what was happening. As a result, the Angel of Death, Nikkel ordered the demons to open something that looked like a container and I saw wild black lizards coming out in great numbers. These lizards were ordered by the Angel of Death to bite him. I saw countless lizards rushing to him and they began to bite him and devour him. He was crying and repenting, but it was too late. Afterward, he was cast into the Abyss. When he was cast into Hell, the Lord said, “Let’s follow him so that we can see.” When the gates of Hell opened, I noticed that this was an ancient gate. And when we entered this ancient gate, I saw that we were descending. In fact, Hell has many levels. As we were descending I saw that we were landing in a huge, massive volcano and lava where souls of men were falling. This extended sea of lava and volcano was the reception of Hell, where souls were supposed to land and be taken to their respective chambers. TO BE CONTINUED....

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

ANGUS & JILL BUCHAN Jill and I found Jesus as our personal Lord and Saviour on the 18th of February 1979, just two years after settling in Greytown, Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands, South Africa. Originally from Zambia, we bought a piece of land on which we planned to farm crops and livestock. We had very little to start with but even as brand new Christians, we were content with our farm, which we later called SHALOM. “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And then they realised that they had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13 They only knew the theory but not the practical. For There is no substitute for being with the Lord. You can go to Bible College and learn to quote the Bible off by heart, but that won’t make any difference - even a parrot can do that. What caused the religious leaders of Israel to marvel at the apostles? It was their boldness. They realised that

example, they could not start the tractor. The students were waiting for him to start it but he didn’t realise there's a safety device and until you put the tractor into neutral, you can’t start the engine. We need to roll up our sleeves and get stuck in.

these men had actually been with Jesus. You see, you can learn all the theory but that means nothing, action always speaks louder than words. The chief priests and the Elders of the church could not heal the lame man sitting at the Gate Beautiful outside the temple, but Peter and John did. They did it in faith and in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. That is what caused the leaders of Israel to marvel. One of my favourite scriptures in the Bible is Colossians 1:27 which says it is Christ in us, the hope of glory. It is not us - It is Christ in us. You and I need to spend more time in the presence of the Lord, not running to and fro, all over the place, trying to get counsel from people. When I was a young farmer, I would see an expert come from the university to tell the farmers how to do certain things.

REMINDER If David's stronghold was a sure covering for him, how much surer stronghold would the covering of the Blood of JESUS provide! In Joshua chapter 2, before Joshua and his men attacked Jericho, he sent two Spies to Jericho where only a harlot by name of Rahab could hide the men in her roof so the king won't kill them. In return for her kindness, the Spies told her to bring her entire household into that house and tie a scarlet rope to the window, so that when they returned to destroy Jericho, Rahab and her household would be recognised and spared. The scarlet speaks of redemption and Ephesians.1:7 says, we have redemption through the blood of Jesus. Therefore, as long as anything that is out to destroy the world, sees this scarlet thread* called the Blood of JESUS on you, that evil thing will pass over you. Hallelujah.. You cannot be closer to GOD than the Blood of JESUS brings you- Ephesians.2:13, you cannot be purer than His blood makes you- 1John.1:9, and you cannot be more justified in God's eyes than the blood of His Son declares youRomans.5:9. All these benefits should give you the confidence to trust in the covering that the Blood of JESUS provides. God's word says the Blood of JESUS speaks better things over your life (Hebrews.12:24) and so, under the covering of this blood, evil is not allowed. Only what the Blood of JESUS speaks over you is permitted to happen in your life. Hallelujah! Recently, we have heard of the stronghold of great personalities invaded, the rich destroyed and the strong and mighty stranded. That means, men all over, are still searching for a sure covering. If this covering I am talking about today has worked for people in the Bible times and GOD calls it the token of an everlasting covenant (Hebrews.13:20), then the same blood still provides a sure covering from all evil harassment of the wicked today. But to enjoy the covering of the Blood of JESUS, you must have a relationship with JESUS Christ. Making JESUS your Lord and Saviour and confessing same, brings you into a relationship with Him (Romans.10:9), and His Blood will not only be for your covering but also your winning weapon Revelation.12:11.

Dear friend, for Rahab and her household to be spared, she needed to display the scarlet rope. As you constantly plead the Blood of JESUS over your life and all you have, you are displaying the scarlet rope for exemption from all evil. Never ever plead the Blood of JESUS in fear, plead the blood like you believe and know that it is more powerful than any force that's up against you. Like Rahab displayed the scarlet rope without doubting its efficacy on account of her own imperfection, plead the Blood of JESUS like you know that GOD holds nothing against you. Dear friend I encourage you to now place your hand on your head and say: I PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS OVER MYSELF AND ALL THAT'S MINE IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME! Do this as often as you can. I see you exempt from all hardship, sickness, disease, sin and every evil thing in Jesus mighty name. I declare a testimony-filled experience over you in Jesus Christ name .

He uses many tricks to defile people on the way to Heaven and drag them to hell. One of his tricks is prayerlessness. Watch out and resist every trick he uses to take away your prayer life from you. The pleasure of sleep, handsets, school duty, business activities, playing or watching games, engaging in long discussion are sure means to weaken your prayer life. If while others are praying you refuse to join, you are at risk of the devil’s attacks. Another trick of satan is to give you evil counselors when you are faced with challenges in decision-making. Satan brought Jonadab to Amnon when he felt a great temptation to sleep with his sister Tamar. Jonadab’s evil advice made Amnon commit incest with Tamar. Resist evil counsels against your relatives, neighbors or friends. Do not seek success without study, or to make millions in an unjust way. Be careful. Evil association is another trick of satan. Our key verse says “Be not deceived: evil communication corrupts good manners”. Be careful what that person is discussing with you. If the discussion is corrupt, rebuke him or her so that you do not join him or her to go to hell fire. Resist every thought satan is bringing to you for fornication, adultery, to kill somebody, to revenge or to hate somebody. Don’t give in to it because it will damn your soul. Watch against disobedience to your parents.

The Scripture says obedience to parent is with blessings. It will prolong your life. Never agree to live a disobedient life. Lying tongue, lips and mouth is a common trick of satan. Pray purposefully that you will not tell lies. Beware of fear and timidity. Watch against disobedience to God. Even satan fears God. Never rebel against God. What Happened to Christian Reverence?

The day began bright with hope and promise. This day was the nearest to Eden man had been since the fall: the dwelling place of God was again with man. The tabernacle stood within Israel’s camp, and now Yahweh was set to appoint his priests. Israel gathered in breathless expectation as Moses publicly ordained Aaron and his four sons — Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar —to serve as priests of the Most High God. The proceedings kept in careful step with the drumbeat “as the Lord commanded” (Leviticus 8:4, 9, 13, 17, 21, 29, 36). So far, so good. The first worship service in the tabernacle then commenced immediately after the ordination. Turning to the people, Aaron and his four sons offered sacrifices for themselves and for the people, and he blessed them. The Lord added his “so far, so good” by providing the grand finale: The glory of the Lord appeared to all the people. And fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the pieces of fat on

Faith Receives and Removes! by: Dr André and Jenny Roebert Exodus 14:21-22 (KJV): "Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night ...So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground".

As Christians, we should remember it's normal to face challenges, but it's unbiblical to have them defeat us. Jesus said that while we are in this world we will have trouble, but we should be of good cheer, because He has overcome this world, and deprived it of its power to harm us (John 16:33). So how do we overcome the difficulties we face? The Word says we overcome and have victory by our faith. 1 John 5:4 says, "For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith." Mark 11 teaches us that faith both removes and receives. We receive the fullness of God's promises by faith; and we remove mountains (obstacles to God's promises) by faith. Hebrews 11:29-30 tells us how the Israelites, "...by faith crossed the Red Sea as [though] on dry land, but when the Egyptians tried to do the same thing, they were swallowed up [by the sea]." Their faith carried them to safety, and the same faith destroyed their enemy. No matter how impossible circumstances may seem in the natural we have the faith of God to not only see His promises become our reality, but also move everything that opposes those promises - right out the way!

Many times people are quick to extend grace to themselves and not to the next person. Jesus says, love is the means by which people will know we are His disciples. The greatest of the laws is love. We can lose the practicalities of these commandments, not suggestions, in daily interactions with family members. As we encounter each other in our daily routines, we may say or think to ourselves: ‘I cannot understand why you did that’. With bewilderment, we can dismiss family members because they do not measure up to our expectations. I make allowances and excuses for myself in similar situations. I sometimes do not extend the same grace to people around me. Family members also need our love. We must also extend our affections and understanding to our family members. I can see myself feeling guilty when I get into the mode of ‘I need a break". So take heart moms and dads. Do not for a second feel you are alone because you are not. Build a community around yourself that empowers you to be a parent after God’s heart. Being a spiritual coach to your child is a God-given and ordained assignment. The greatest gift we can give our children is faith in a loving and great Heavenly Father. A living and loving relationship with the Lord Jesus is the best gift on this side of life. It is your job as a parent to lead your child to the Lord. We live in a world different from the one we grew up in. Many of us feel ill-equipped. God knew that, yet gave you your child. Your gift from heaven. As you live your life, remember you have a disciple watching you.

OUR RESPONSE TO PERSECUTION

s Christians from the West who have suffered so very little for Christ, we may find it difficult or even embarrassing to consider THAT GOD’S NAME BE GREAT AMONG THE NATIONS 7 the proper response to persecution. However, we must remember that our authority to teach or write on a subject is not determined by our experience but by the Word of God. Although it would be beyond the scope of this article to set forth all that the Scriptures teach about the believer’s response to persecution, we can mention a few of the most important truths to consider. 1) We should prepare for persecution beforehand by availing ourselves of every means to grow in grace and personal Christlikeness. We should give ourselves to daily Bible study, private prayer, and faithful membership in a local church while we have the freedom to do so. There may come a day when these privileges are lost to us. 2) We should be faithful to use our gifts for the evangelization of the lost and the edification of the church. We should make the most of every opportunity for growth and ministry so that we have no regrets when the doors of opportunity have closed (John 9:4).

3) We should especially strive to grow in our knowledge of the attributes and works of God. In the midst of persecution, the believer is often burdened and weakened with doubts about God’s character and wisdom. The greatest bulwark and buttress against this kind of confusion is a biblical knowledge of God. If we know who God is, we do not have to know what He is doing or why He is doing it. Daniel 11:32 assures us that “the people who know their God will display strength and take action” in the midst of conflict and persecution. Prior to his own martyrdom, the Apostle Paul wrote, “For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day” (II Timothy 1:12). Only those who truly know the God whom they have believed can truly “entrust their souls” to Him (I Peter 4:19).

4) We should examine our lives and conduct to be sure that we are suffering for Christ and not for some character flaw or misdeed. The Apostle Peter penned, “For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God” (I Peter 2:20). And again, “Make sure that none of you suffers as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler; but if anyone suffers as a Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name” (I Peter 4:15-16). Finally, “Keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame” (I Peter 3:16). In our self-examination, we must also remember that we are called, so far as it depends upon us, to be at peace with all men (Romans 12:18), including the governing authorities that have been established by God (Romans 13:1). We are to pray “on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority” (I Timothy 2:1-2). Furthermore, we are to “be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience’ sake”; and we are to “render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor” (Romans 13:5, 7). The only exceptions to this directive is when the laws of man contradict the clearly revealed commands of God (Acts 4:19-20; 5:29).

5) We should trust in the sovereignty, faithfulness, and purpose of God. In times of severe trial and persecution, our souls may venture to ask dangerous questions. “Has God lost control,” you may question, “or is our suffering unnoticed?” But Christ answers, “Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.” “But,” you continue, “has God abandoned us? Are we forgotten? Are we alone?” Again, Christ replies, “Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands.”5 “But is this suffering without purpose? Is it meaningless? Vain?” you venture further. “The testing of your faith produces endurance,” Christ responds again. “You have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”6 Once more you ask, “Is the gospel failing? Will the Great Commission be defeated?” And once more Christ answers, “You suffer hardship even to imprisonment as a criminal, but the word of God is not imprisoned.” TO BE CONTINUED.....

Serving Others Did you know that we have the power through the Holy Spirit to draw others to Jesus? We have been given the power to be His witnesses. I want you to know, that my experience has been, that when I witness for Jesus more people than not are interested. There is no reason to fear rejection. It is important to sow the seeds! In the beginning of Song of Songs chapter 6, the women of Jerusalem ask the Shulamite bride where Jesus is. The bride responds by saying that He is serving. Today, this is still where we can find Jesus. We know that Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve. In Matthew 6:10 Jesus said “I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” It is in using you and I, beloved, that He builds His church. Some of us need to break away from believing we fulfill our obligation to the LORD by coming to church once or twice a week. We do this and wonder why we still feel empty. If you want to experience more, begin to serve, and you will feel alive and become more passionate. Do not wait to hear a voice telling you exactly where to serve. Rather, find a need in the body and serve God’s people.

Jesus was free to serve because He knew who He was, where He was going, and that the Father fulfilled all of His needs. We too are complete in Christ. Song of Songs 6:3 says, “I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine.” There is no reason to allow fear to keep us from reaching out to others, or serving. This is our true destiny and who we are. You will find completeness and fullness in serving others with Him. We can allow Him to break in and break up the things we cling to that keep us from finding our true identity in Him. We are His inheritance, and are to be in partnership with Him, to accomplish His will; in continuing to build His kingdom here on earth. We ask You-Father for help to receive the heart of a servant, to become more like Your Son, and to be cleansed and transformed.

Billions of people around the world make lifetime decisions based on money, fame, power, and influence. They give much of their time and money chasing after empty dreams, ambitions, and goals that do not lead to everlasting life - but instead to everlasting damnation and death. What are you chasing? Are you chasing prestige, money, wealth, and positions of authority? Are you chasing a high through drugs? Or healing through prescription drugs? If or when you reach what you are chasing what do you find? Is it happiness, joy, peace, humility and truth? Or is it pain, chaos, vanity, emptiness, lies, deception, pride, sin, sickness, and death? If you chase the worldly pursuits you will be living a life like a rat running in a tread wheel. They are running but getting nowhere. The faster they run, the faster they get to nowhere and the faster they wear out. This is “rat race living”, running but getting nowhere. Many years ago this was my life running but getting nowhere. One day after work and close to the end of time fighting traffic, God got my attention to wake me up to the truth.

God said to my mind in a still small voice, “Cary, you did everything you were told to do; you got your education. So what did you do after that?” I said “well I started working, Lord.” “So what's after that?”, God said. I said, ”Get house, car, etc.. and keep working, Lord.” “So what's after that?,” said the Lord. “They tell me that I need to save money in my 401K (retirement fund) and then retire Lord.” “So what's after that, Cary?” “I retire, Lord.” Then the Lord continued and said, “Now, Cary what's after that.” I said, “death.” Let me pause for a second, I could see at this point that God was taking me from my past, to my present and future. The next question, pierced me and really got me to think about my spiritual walk with God. He said, “So what did you do for Me?” This question pierced me because I was still very busy in church. So I said, “Lord, what do you mean, what did I do for You?, I thought I was doing it for you. I am an Elder in the church, Youth Leader, Family Life Leader, ...” God said, “Yes, but that's what you do for them, but what are you doing for Me (to reaching the community with the gospel).” Obviously, I was speaking to God so I had to tell the truth. I said, “Nothing.” This also had a profound impact on my spiritual walk with God. My whole prospective began to change. The pursuit of worldly gain and money began to fade. I began to become more awake spiritually to the things around me.
