Derive NO.1

1. Getting out of the train, choose randomly the first direction to take without knowing what the place will be like.

2. Go in the opposite direction of the one decided just before (i.e. if it was left, then go right).

3. Go straight untill seeing something named with a B. 4. Change direction when you see something broken.

5. Follow the direction of the wind.

6. Follow the shape of the nearest tree.

Here we started our derive in Mount Florida where we set a rule and each time the event happened we made a new rule and so forth until the rule changed 12 times. At each change we took a image with our film camrea, to document our jounery whilst including a couple of other key moments

7. Follow a red car.

8. Walk straight untill seeing stained glass and take opposite direction.

9. Go up and reach the highest point in sight.

10. Get out of the wind.

12. Go back to the station.

Task 5 - The Derive and other drifts: Drift 1

Derive NO.2 Here we tried to complete a perfect Circle however below is the route that we could take with the grid of the city dictating our only route. We took a photo at each obstacle we came across.

The first love note is sent from Ted to Marian using Leo as their Messenger

Marian gives Leo a love note to give to Ted but Leo feels guilty and says he doesn’t want to-do it anymore. So Marian makes him feel guilty and manipulates him so he does it running away crying

Mrs. Maudsley realises Marian is not with the rest of the family in the house

4 Mrs. Maudsley catches onto Marian’s love affair with Ted and forces Leo with her through the rain to the abandoned farm house and catches them making love. Leo realises he has been bullied and manipulated into doing something he knew was wrong which has affected him till late adulthood
