PRODUCTION PROCESS
At Vic Bay, we believe in conserving our environment for future generations. Our philosophy is to reduce reliance on high-cost fossil fuels and lower energy and water usage in manufacturing by investing in the latest technology. This allows Vic Bay to provide a better product at a lower price.
Dyeing
Our fabric is dyed to International colour fastness & performance benchmarks, to ensure stability.
Harvesting Our cotton is currently
100% South African.
We do, however, source from our
neighbouring SADC countries
from time to time.
Cutting Our state-of-the-art Bierrebi automatic cutting machines are used to ensure fast & accurate cutting of garments.
Spinning
Our 100% cotton yarn is subjected to stringent tests to ensure the
highest quality yarn.
Knitting
Our fabric is knitted in body size tubular form allowing for seamless-sides on selected T-shirts.
Assembly
At our operations in South Africa & Lesotho, garments are manufactured according to the
highest quality standards.
