Solvent recovery is the process of removing 95% + of the solvent in your crude cannabis extract.
Wiped film Distillation
Wiped film Distillation
is the final step, first pass for terpene stripping and second step is to capture cannabinoids. Under a vacuum, the cannabis oil is loaded onto a heated and rotating vertical cylinder. Wipers continuously wipe the extract creating a thin film on the evaporative surface. A chilled condenser in the center of the wiped-film column condenses cannabinoid vapor into oil.

Most wiped-film evaporators contain the wiper blades in a column enclosed in a cage attached to a spinning rotor. Beaker & Wrench’s patentpending* innovation is a sintered stainless steel mesh called SinterTek™ that fits perfectly into the wiper cage.
This mesh not only increases your purity, it prevents splashing of contaminants onto your internal condenser.
The 6” wiped-film provides 0.25m² surface area for evaporation, with the sintered mesh providing a droplet barrier between the evaporator and condenser. With SinterTek™, drips or splashes can’t reach the condenser and cause “streaking.”
Secondly, it also provides a fractioning surface. You will get a higher purity product.

The Outlet Pump (also known as a Gear Pump or Discharge Pump), regulates output dosage from 0-7L/hr. This allows the operator to have control over residence time, flow rate, and overall time management. This pump is also a great option to use as a feed or dosing pump for your system.

A heated transfer line works as a viable conduit between feed and still. In addition, it can be used to daisy-chain two distillation apparatuses, turning a single stage into a dual stage.
