Orange County White Supremacist Gang Member Found Guilty of Murder A previously convicted white supremacist gang member was convicted of second-degree murder for stabbing a 22-year-old man to death in a Laguna Niguel bar in 2015. A jury found Craig Matthew Tanber, 40, of Los Alamitos, guilty of one felony count of seconddegree murder for stabbing Shayan Mazroei several times after Tanber and girlfriend were told to leave The Original Patsy’s Irish Pub on September 8, 2015. Tanber was also convicted on one felony count of the personal use of a weapon. Tanber is facing 56 years to life in state prison. He Is scheduled to be sentenced on February 7,

Riverside Authorities Arrest Four on Drug Trafficking Charges Four men who used off-road vehicles to retrieve a load of methamphetamine that was smuggled into the United States on an ultralight aircraft and dropped near the Salton Sea are scheduled to make their first court appearances this afternoon on federal narcotics trafficking charges. The four men were arrested after authorities tracked the ultralight aircraft as it entered U.S. airspace and flew to the area of North Shore, a community on the edge of the Salton Sea. After the aircraft descended to a low altitude, Border Patrol agents observed two off-road utility

he Glendale Arts and Culture Commission invites both new and established artists and performance groups of 3+ performers to apply for a spot in our 2020 performance series. The Commission will host a variety of performance experiences every Friday at 7:00 p.m. from June through August 2020 at the Brand Library & Art Center Outdoor Plaza, and every Saturday in October 2020 at the Artsakh Paseo. . Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2020. Electronic submissions are preferred, including recent performance videos or sound files. The City of Glendale’s Performance Series, now in its sixth year, provides a free cultural asset to residents and
attracts visitors to experience arts and cultural opportunities. This program has been designed to support various arts organizations and to bring distinguished cultural programming to Glendale. The Performance Series is supported by the City of Glendale and the Glendale Arts & Culture Commission, with funding from the Urban Art Program and the Brand Associates. The mission of the Glendale Arts & Culture Commission is to enrich the human experience, reinforce Glendale’s identity and civic pride through arts and culture, and to recognize the importance of arts to our quality of life and to the local economy. This is accomplished by consciously integrating arts and culture into the daily life of the people of Glendale through urban design, planning, economic development, and education.
Pawn Stars’ Expert Mark Hall-Patton Launches San Bernardino County’s 2020 Dome Talks Mark Hall-Patton, a frequent visiting expert on Pawn Stars and museums administrator for the Clark County Museum, will be the featured speaker at 2020 Dome Talks on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 7 p.m. Hall-Patton, instantly recognizable by his trademark red shirt, wide brim Amish-style hat, and gray beard, has overseen the Clark County Museum, Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum, and Searchlight History Museum for the last 23 years.
