Anaheim Shelter Plan: Salvation Army Site Moves Forward City looks at options on second site Anaheim is moving forward with a temporary 200-bed homeless shelter in partnership with the Salvation Army and continues to evaluate options for a second, 125-bed shelter in an industrial area of east Anaheim. The City Council approved an agreement with The Salvation Army Orange County and dedicated city funding for
development and operation of a temporary shelter in an industrial area along Lewis Street south of Ball Road. The action clears the way for development in December of a 1.7-acre site, or about 72,000 square feet, at 1340 S. Lewis St.

San Bernardino Detectives Arrest Two On Murder Charges Following an extensive investigation, detectives arrested Daezashon Decatur and Deshawn Rogers for the murder of Levi Blood. Through investigation, detectives determined the suspects and the victim were known to each other. Detectives believe that during a drug transaction, an attempted robbery
occurred between the suspects and the victim that led to the shooting death of the victim, Levi Blood. The investigation is ongoing and Detectives are asking anyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting, or anyone with

Riverside, like nearly all public agencies and special districts across California, must address the difference between the current and
future resources that exist to cover expenses related to providing retirement benefits for current and future retirees, and the projected cost of providing those benefits in the coming years. The difference between those two amounts is called the unfunded pension
