Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Mourns Loss of K-9 Deputy Wyatt The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is deeply saddened to announce that San Jacinto Police K-9 “Wyatt” passed away due to medical complications. Wyatt was rushed to a veterinarian hospital but died as a result of an inoperable brain tumor. Wyatt, a Belgium Malinois breed, was born in the Netherlands on July 2, 2012. Wyatt was assigned to the San Jacinto Police Department under the police services contract with the Riverside

ocks of Love brought together Dignity Health employees and the community to donate their hair to Locks of Love, the non-profit that provides custom hair pieces at no cost to children dealing with hair loss related to a medical condition. International celebrity hairstylist Anh Co Tran made the 10 inch-long cuts and donations in a pop-up salon inside the Glendale Memorial Hospital’s lobby. His team also buzzed people’s hair in solidarity with Riley. For each person that buzzed their head, Dignity Health donated $500 to the Locks of Love foundation. The event was in support of 7-year-old Riley Sylvaria – a child with alopecia who garnered attention when a video of her father shaving his head in support of her went viral – and other children with similar conditions.
