The Pasadena Community College (PCC) Board of Trustees has enlisted the help of a management consultant, PPL, Inc., and a Campus Screening Committee made up of a cross-section of members of campus constituent organizations. Last week, the Board interviewed five candidates for the position, and they have selected the following three individuals for further consideration:
Erika A. Endrijonas, Ed.D., has been president of Los Angeles Valley College since August 2014. Previously, she was executive vice president and accreditation liaison officer at Oxnard College for five years, and prior to that, she served nine years at Santa Barbara City College as dean of educational programs. A high school track and field coach pleaded no contest recently to one misdemeanor count of child endangerment, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced. Los Angeles County

t Tuesday night’s special Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) meeting to discuss the deficit, Board members got an earful from concerned Franklin teachers and parents who, like their signs read, pointed out in no uncertain terms that ‘Franklin teachers do more with less’ and
that the PUSD administration ‘does less with more.’ Speaker after speaker echoed that sentiment during public comment. According to PUSD, the “target” is to increase the 2020-21 Ending Fund Balance Projection by $10.1 million to obtain a 3 percent reserve. “This can be accomplished through a combination of revenue increases and/or SEE DISDAIN PAGE 10
