Two Anaheim Officers Seriously Injured During Attempted Arrest Two Anaheim Police Department (APD) officers were seriously injured during an attempted arrest of an assault and battery suspect. Both officers were transported to a local trauma center, where they are currently being treated. Post arrest, the suspect went into full cardiac arrest and was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition. Around 8:40 am Saturday morning, officers were sent to an apartment complex in the 2200 block of W. Broadway regarding a male resident who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics and who allegedly assaulted an employee of the complex. Preliminary information indicates when the officers tried to take the suspect into custody, a physical altercation occurred. The officers called for an emergency response of additional officers. The suspect was eventually taken into custody, and within minutes went into full cardiac arrest. APD personnel performed CPR until paramedics arrived and transported the suspect to a local hospital. The suspect’s prognosis is not known at this time.

On October 26, 2018, at approximately 5:00 P.M., officers from the Wildomar Police Department conducted a high visibility saturation patrol in the city of Wildomar. This saturation patrol was organized in direct response to an increased number of calls for service generated by citizens related to panhandling, theft, trespassing, narcotics usage, vandalism, and other quality of life concerns. During the operation, officers contacted numerous subjects around the city. A total of 13 subjects were arrested and booked into jail or issued notices to appear: 1. Francisco Bautista De Jesus, 29-year sold, resident of Lake Elsinore, for driving under the influence. He was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center. 2. Darin Bishop, 49-years old, resident of Menifee, for a misdemeanor warrant. 3. Bobby Canales, 43-years old, resident of Wildomar, for a misdemeanor warrant. 4. Mitchell Cockayne, 54-years old, resident of Wildomar, for misdemeanor warrants.

etectives from the Los Angeles Regional Human Trafficking Taskforce began an investigation into allegations that two San Gabriel Valley massage businesses and a single residence, were operating as illicit prostitution brothels. Employees at the locations were reportedly trafficked and forced into commercial sex work by the female owner of the businesses. During the investigation, Detectives revealed evidence that financial crimes including money laundering may also be taking place.
