ANAHEIM MAN AMONG EIGHT BUSTED FOR METHAMPHETAMINE TRAFFICKING RING Federal authorities arrested eight defendants named in a grand jury indictment that alleges a scheme to send methamphetamine to Hawaii, including nearly 12 kilograms of narcotics made to look like decorative Aztec calendars and statues. Today’s arrests follow the filing of a seven-count indictment on October 10. A ninth defendant charged in the indictment was already in federal custody on an unrelated case. The indictment alleges a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, including an attempted shipment on July 17 of 11.7 kilograms of pure methamphetamine from a post office in Garden Grove. Those drugs were part of a nearly 90-pound shipment that appeared to be colorful, decorative Mexican items, including replicas of the 500-year-old Aztec calendar stone. City of Long Beach Celebrates International Digital Inclusion Week The National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) and the Australian Digital Inclusion Alliance (ADIA) have declared October 15 through October 21, 2018 as International Digital Inclusion Week (IDIW) to raise awareness on digital equity and inclusion around the

San Bernardino Sheriff’s Arrest Man With Warrants Totaling $450,000 Deputy Sandoval of the Twin Peaks Station responded to the the Valero Gas Station, in Crestline, reference a subject yelling at customers. Sandoval contacted Aaron Cunningham near the Valero. During the contact, Aaron Cunningham was found to have five active arrest warrants totaling $450,000.00 for
weapons and narcotics related charges. Aaron Cunningham was arrested for his warrants. Anyone with information related to the investigation is asked to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Twin Peaks Station at (909) 336-0600.

HIT AND RUN LANDS MAN IN RIVERSIDE JAIL Coachella officers responded Avenida Aleenah and Calle Emelia, in the city of Coachella, regarding a hit and run traffic collision. It was determined Carlos Torres-Mejia, 19-years-old of Coachella, was driving his 1992 Chevrolet Silverado, when he collided into two parked vehicles
in a private driveway. Torres-Mejia fled the scene on foot and was located in the area. Torres-Mejia received minor injuries and displayed obvious signs of intoxication. He was arrested for driving while
