s a result of a local newspaper story last week, Pasadena City Hall and its executives are reeling from what appears to be yet another embezzle-

ment scandal. While not quite as dramatic as the big scandal of a few years ago, these allegations state that five former board members of one of the city’s bargaining units may have been involved in questionable SEE EMBEZZLEMENT PAGE 11

Numerous police officers with a federal task force shot and wounded a fugitive in Parsons parking structure Tuesday evening. A regional U.S. Marshals task force from Glendale was tracking a man wanted on a warrant near 100 W. Walnut St.

On Aug. 19 at about 7:09 p.m., Pasadena police officers responded to a call of a home invasion robbery in the 2800 block of Thorndike Road.

Officers arrived on scene and contacted the juvenile victim at his residence, and learned four unknown suspects had fled the location on foot. The investigation revealed the SEE HOME INVASION PAGE 11
