Deputy Sheriff Killed in Crash On Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at approximately 9:40 p.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department tragically lost one of our own. While off-duty and in his personal vehicle, Deputy Brandon Arce was involved in a fatal traffic collision. He was traveling southbound on San Francisquito Canyon Road in the unincorporated area of Santa Clarita when for an undetermined reason his vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle. Sheriff Jim McDonnell stated the following, "We are deeply saddened by the loss of Deputy Brandon Arce, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Law enforcement is a close knit community and when we lose a member of

our family the loss is definitely felt by everyone. We have Department personnel with his family offering support during this challenging time. As we work through this devastating loss, our thoughts go out to the families and all those affected by this tragedy."

The 84th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, the largest Christmas celebration in America, announces that Penn & Teller, stars of the hit CW series “Penn & Teller: Fool Us,” will be the Grand Marshals for this year’s 2015 extravaganza. Presented and produced by Associated Television International, the live event, taped for network television, will take place on Hollywood Boulevard on Sunday, Nov. 29 at 5 p.m., and will include live musical performances that will take place on two stages. The parade will also air to more than one million American servicemen and women worldwide on American Forces Network. Jim Romanovich, President of Associated Television International, said: “We are thrilled to once again be a part of The Hollywood Christmas Parade, one of the greatest holiday traditions of all time, which is enjoyed by millions of families each year. This year, we are especially gratified to have both the CW and our good friends at Hallmark as our television partners. We are equally thrilled to be partnered with Toys for Tots once again. Typical towing situations include, but are not limited to: removing illegally parked vehicles; towing inoperative vehicles as a result of traffic accidents and mechanical breakdowns;

and impounding vehicles for investigation, evidence, or a violation of the law. The OPTS Provider must provide towing and storage services all hours of a day, every day of the year. The City encourages all towing firms— who are interested in providing the City’s Police Department with high quality towing and storage services— to submit a Proposal. The City will accept Proposals beginning on Friday, October 23, 2015. Proposals are due by Monday, November 30, 2015, no later than 4 p.m.
