tection and Safety Division (CPSD) has issued a Preliminary Report in its investigation into the cause of failed poles, restoration

efforts, and communication with the general public and governmental agencies during a recent windstorm in Southern California Edi-

The Temple City Public Arts Advisory Group is looking for residents who are interested in contributing ideas to the city’s new focus on public art. The upcoming Rosemead Blvd. Enhancement Project includes many opportunities for public art, starting first with corridor light pole banners and inspirational quotes that will be incorporated in various areas like sidewalks, planters and seating nodes.

Tasked by the City Council to shape the future of Temple City’s public art program, the advisory group is looking for input on what the banners could look like and what the quotes would say. “You do not need to be an artist, just be interested and excited about enhancing the look of the city through public art,” said group member Kathy Keelin. “We hope to bring a unified image of Temple
